I currently have 3 of my kids enrolled at Apex Martial Arts, and it has been great! Master Ian is an excellent instructor and very good with kids of different ages. He keeps them engaged and teaches them fundamental life skills along with Martial Arts. I also get to take advantage of the adult classes and we do a family class on Saturdays where we all learn together. Master Ian's many years of experience and mastery across multiple martial arts makes his classes perfect for kids to gain a solid foundation and great for adults who may be looking for a deeper understanding of specific techniques or forms or martial arts in general. I highly recommend Apex to anyone interested in getting themselves and/or their kids involved in an active sport.

My niece and nephew love Sensi Ian. They speak very highly of him and show me everything they learn. He is so patient with them and has a great way of connecting with kids. Highly recommend!

Apex Martial Arts is an amazing local business run by an upstanding man. I have known this gentleman for years and I have seen him do nothing but hone his craft to create the best possible product for his students. Apex is run by a true master who is dedicated to providing a safe and authentic martial arts experience for anyone, of any background, of any skill level. I believe anyone can benefit from training with master McClindon. I have seen nothing but positivity from the students that experience what Apex offers. It is THE place to learn martial arts in the Whitman area and neighboring towns.

My son started with Master Ian over two years ago. Since then he has learned so much from him, his confidence and skills have grown a great deal in this time. He has been inspired and motivated to continue on until he gets his black belt. Our daughter has now recently joined and loves it. Our family highly recommends joining!

I brought in my 4 year old daughter to try a class .apparently you have to have an already disciplined and focused child . Really ? Is any 4 year old this way . I wanted her to grow and learn this here and also have fun but learn structure . This wasn’t the place for us . Also he proceeded to ask me if my 4 year old had emotional issues on her first class and try to something new ., I think this wasn’t professional or polite . I wouldn’t recommend this studio to anyone
