    One of the best jiu-jitsu gyms I’ve ever trained at. I’m a blue belt from Australia travelled around the UK for two months and trained at a bunch of different gyms along the way. Allsopp was the first one i trained at and easily one of my top three favourites. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with nothing but smiles and warm energy. The class structure and technique were great, and the rolls were even better! Everyone made me feel welcome from day one. They even gave me a free trial for the week I was in Wigan, knowing I was travelling and wouldn’t be around any longer, which says a lot about the culture of the gym. Jiu-jitsu would be a much better sport if more gyms were like this. Definitely want to come back and train here again someday. If you’re looking for a gym or just passing through the area, definitely drop in!

    I've been to many different BJJ gyms, and this one is the most welcoming I've ever visited. Additionally, Allsopp's is incredibly clean, and the coaches, Ben and Tish, are extremely skilled and teach to a high standard, which benefits both experienced students and beginners.

    Absolutely love this gym! 🥋 The coaches are amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I love how woman-friendly it is. The women’s classes are brilliant and such a supportive environment. Couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️

    An amazing BJJ club with a fantastic atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, everyone is welcoming, supportive, and encouraging. The coaches are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about every student's progress. My son (8) has been coming for a few months now and loves it. It’s not just the bjj but the life lessons they teach. Couldn’t recommend them enough

The coaches are amazing and are so supportive in every step you take .     I recommend this BJJ studio 1000%! I always wanted to try BJJ but was always a little nervous, so I started their womens class first and it's the best thing I've ever done! I've done a few mixes classes too and I don't know what I was nervous about - every single person I've met has been lovely and accommodating. The studio is super clean with changing facilities and they even have a kids room with a large window so you can attend your class and keep an eye on your little ones too. They have a range of classes from family classes to more advanced classes for adults. If you're thinking about trying it out, definitely do it! x
