Alliance is amazing. Chris is an excellent and a patient teacher with the kids. He teaches them proper techniques as well as how to handle themselves outside the gym so they can be prepared for real-life situations. Also whether it is Shannon or another helper they have plenty of experienced adults helping Chris.
Wonderful, welcoming gym that provides a great mix of teammates to roll with. Chris and the other black belts are very patient with newer students but also provide a challenging environment for more advanced ones. Competition is encouraged and supported but not required. The Cassidy brothers also have a solid Muay Thai program for those who want to learn striking. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place to train! Chris is excellent and always has a great and structured program. The other teachers are excellent too, and overall one of the most welcoming environments I've seen in a gym. Would recommend this place for anyone to go.

Absolutely loved this place. They are always welcoming of people regardless of background. I'd say this is the place you want to go to learn; the classes are perfect for those who have never tried BJJ and the experienced folks alike. You'll be challenged but will definitely meet a great variety of folks who are willing to chat/share their experiences. If you've been curious about it but have some doubts or anxiety about it, you should definitely give it a try ! Furthermore, they conduct business in a very professional manner. I look forward to returning in the future !

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Pennsylvania has created a fun, creative and efficient learning environment for both adults and children. Instruction is always on point and the lower to upper belt ratio is hard to beat. Most classes are essentially private lessons. Highly recommend this school for anyone wanting to train BJJ and get in shape.
I walked in to the academy 3 years ago and never looked back. I was instantly addicted to the sport and training. The members are all great and helpful and now have become brothers and sisters. If you want to learn Jiu Jitsu, self defense, get fit, and change your life this is the place to do it!!
Today I am writing this because I was seeking to learn a way to manage my fears and challenge me throughout my life ,I found it and so very much in jiu jitsu training .This is in fact a professional skill..I can say I have met great people through my training on the mat – These are true martial artists ! They are men who put aside ego and personal reward in order to help elevate their juniors to the level of enlightenment they achieved. I learned that Jiu Jitsu is so much more than just a sport and now I get it when people say it is a lifestyle. It is definitely one of the best life choices I've ever made.The longer I train jiu jitsu, the more I learn about what I don't know. thank you to all the teachers out there. You guys have really helped and make me want to be a better student.
Best place in area to train real Bjj. Staff is very knowledgeable and willing to share info. Great schedule to accommodate many different training schedules.
