I dropped in for a class while in town for work. I train out of an Alliance school and was happy to train at another Alliance location. Austin is a great instructor and actively participates in situational drills. He had some great pointers for me. I would not hesistate to drop in here again. Everyone I rolled with was very respectful and showed they were well trained.

Easily the best gym I’ve gone to for BJJ. Austin gives phenomenal instruction that I’ve already been able to apply and see insane improvements in my grappling game. Seriously whether you are a beginner or experienced grappler this gym is a phenomenal place to be.

Alliance JiuJitsu is without a doubt the best martial arts school in the local area. Owner Austin is an absolutely incredible coach. If you want your child to have well rounded teaching, learn proper basics, refine his technique and gain valuable self defense and discipline skills in a safe and violence free environment then this is the place for you. The staff are all very friendly, the facilities are clean and well appointed. Austin has patience and is kind, yet demands respect and retains control of his classes which is no mean feat in a class full of kids. He demonstrates everything he expects the children to do, explains it and why it is used, then helps them master it. We are so grateful to have found them! Every lesson we are more grateful for the patience and care that are obvious in Austin’s teaching. His lovely wife Erina is always kind and helpful. She assists in classes and is also great with the kids. Having tried other places this school remains unmatched for teaching, professionalism, instruction and care. I cannot recommend this school enough but obviously all the five star reviews clearly say it all. Thank you so much Alliance Jiujitsu for all you do!

I live in the Northern Virginia area and was in Huntsville AL due to a work-related training. I visited Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Huntsville under coach Austin Broach to continue training while I am out-of-town. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. During the fundamentals class, Coach Broach was very detail-oriented and his technique was very thorough. I had an awesome time training with his athletes and enjoyed class. I highly recommend taking a class and training at Alliance jiu-jitsu Huntsville

I came from the Mississippi gulf coast to work in Huntsville for a week. I was looking for a place to catch a Jiu-Jitsu class and found Alliance Jiu-Jitsu. They returned my phone call and told me it wouldn't be a problem for me to stop by. The Professor is super knowledgeable and takes his time teaching to make sure everyone is getting the techniques of the day. It's a great welcoming school and all the students are great. I would highly recommend Alliance if your looking for a great school to challenge yourself at.

Was traveling for work and stopped into Alliance, will definitely be back whenever I'm in town. Love when I walk into a gym and there is no ego or intimidation. Just got down to business, got some great instruction and some good rolls. Definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe of the gym

I did a drop in at this location and I really appreciate the level of detail that went behind each technique and instruction . Austin was very helpful in explaining the techniques and I took away a lot of good pointers. The people were very friendly and I got to train with some very technical people. I really recommend this place to anyone in the area . I felt very welcome there

Came here to visit recently. First off they were so fast to answer all my questions. I asked a question on the website and got an almost immediate response. Erina, was kind and welcoming before I stepped foot in the academy. When I arrived the place looked amazing. The mat space is huge, and the mats were very clean. There is plenty of space around the mats to sit for parents. Once class started professor Austin (aka Carlos) #insidejoke was extremely welcoming. He taught a great class and even helped me with something I was personally getting stuck on. The students also welcomed me warmly with lots of arm bars and chokes. Lots of respect across the board. My experience there was more than a 5 star experience. I encourage you to check it out when in the Alabama area! I know I will be back for sure. I have found my home gym away from home.

Trained here while in town, and it was a great experience. Professor Austin was very welcoming. The school was very well organized and very clean. Great mat space and showers. I attended a No Gi noon class. One thing I always appreciate is when a professor can read the room and teaches a technique that a new student can learn while focusing on certain details for the experienced students. We worked on breaking /passing guard on both sides as well as the “Sao Paulo” pass. Professor Austin was very patient and taught 2 different variations to cater to those who may not be as flexible. I visit family in Huntsville once per year so I am very happy I found a home away from home. I definitely recommend this place for those who want to try Jiu Jitsu for the first time or anyone who is looking to train while visiting Huntsville. Thank you Professor Austin for the warm welcome and hospitality. See you

I'll start by saying I've belonged to many gyms since 2009 and I can honestly say that I have never come across a gym and/or instructor that encapsulated what it means to be a leader and a mentor. Austin brings to this area a deep understanding of not only skill and technique that was acquired from training with the best in the world but also a desire make a difference in people's lives. If you are passionate about BJJ or are thinking about trying it for the first time, I highly encourage you to come see Austin at Alliance Jiu Jitsu Huntsville. A lot of people can teach, very few can inspire. See you on the mats!

I am honored and grateful to have trained under Professor Austin for about one year. Perhaps a spell longer. In addition to being a talented teacher and highly proficient in the art of jiu jitsu, I believe Austin Broach is a...Wizard...or a Transmuter of sorts. One summer afternoon I returned to the dojo after a training session, and to my utter astonishment, I found Austin levitating about three feet off the mats. He was in a floating lotus pose with his back to me. Understandably, I was startled at the sight of my instructor suspended in mid-air and attempted to quickly and quietly exit, just as I had entered. But Austin, still facing away from me simply muttered, "Enter. And fear ye not." I did as instructed while Austin softly descended to the mats. "What is it you seek?" It appeared to me he was still lost in a meditative trance. "It's just me, " I replied. I apologized and advised I had simply returned because I had forgotten my mouthguard. When Austin came to, we had a brief discussion. He assured me there was nothing to fear...that he was simply communing with the jiu jitsu masters of the past and seeking their guidance. After a time I concluded that Austin only utilizes his powers for that of good and for the dissemination and advancement of jiu jitsu throughout the land. But if you ever forget your mouthguard, your gi, or your belt at the dojo after a training session with Professor Austin and you have to return to retrieve said items...don't say you have not been forewarned. Happy training, Grasshoppers!

I trained under Austin when he was an instructor at the Alliance HQ in Atlanta, GA. I travel for work, and my job finally brought me close enough to visit so I could once again train with him after he came to Huntsville to open his academy. Austin has a unique gift with how he teaches a technique that I haven't seen replicated anywhere else. His emphasis on the technique is amazing and can completely change your understanding of it. He is also fantastic with teaching the kids class. My two children loved his class, and I appreciated how he was able to simplify the lesson for them to understand it and keep it fun at the same time. On a scale of 1-10; Austin and Alliance Huntsville get an 11.

Awesome gym, and an even better teacher. Anytime I had trouble getting the hang of certain things he took one on one time to make sure I had it on lock. As a beginner who is eager that makes a world of difference.

So proud and happy for Austin to be leading Alliance Huntsville! Austin is an unbelievable instructor with attention to detail and the ability to teach all levels. Austin was a foundational part of the success enjoyed at the Alliance HQ in Atlanta GA as our head instructor for the kids and fundamental programs. Anyone that knows anything about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu knows that the best instructors are light weights because their technique has to be precise, and Austin is the epitome of technical excellence when it comes to Jiu-Jitsu

Austin is hands-down one of my favorite instructors, ever. His surgical approach to teaching allows students the ability to see the details that make BJJ great.
