Alliance Easley is one of the best gyms that I have been to. Kenny and the rest of the team are great and very experienced. Not only is it beginner friendly, but the techniques that are taught will assist someone in competition and on the streets. Highly recommend trying out the free trial and getting involved!

I've been going here for over a year and a half now. I would highly recommend coming to this gym! All the coaches have been great at creating a good environment and great at working with each individual to not only learn BJJ but also helping with each persons personal reason (self defense, competition, personal growth, etc.). Give Jiu Jitsu a try and definitely give it a try here!

From my very first intro class, the atmosphere was welcoming. I didn't have any martial arts experience. Kenny and the instructors are awesome. I immediately knew I wanted to join. I've learned so much. Everyone is encouraging, which has helped me gain confidence in my abilities. I feel comfortable whether I'm the only woman in the room or not. I'm treated like a part of the team. I love seeing other women in class. To any of you thinking about trying, do it!

Alliance Easley has been amazing. I transitioned to Alliance after training somewhere else for a few years, so I was pretty nervous but the professor and everyone welcomed me with open arms. Everyone treated me as if I had trained there forever. Everyone is respectful and shares the common goal of learning and getting better. The mats are always super clean, everyone has great attitudes, and there’s an abundance of class times to work with anyone’s schedules. I see how much I’ve learned in a short period of time and I’d highly recommend anyone to give it a try.

** Updated Review ** (2 Months Later, July '24): After joining the gym and going to the adult classes, i've discovered this is really a hidden gem. The owner of this place has my full respect and admiration. I noticed the gym offers kid classes and considered putting mine in. After bringing them to a couple trial classes for their age brackets, they quickly began to love it as well. Kenny (the owner) is an incredible kids's coach/leader. I look for two things in adult leaders who lead/care for kids, 1) Competency & 2) Character. Obviously, Kenny knows what to do and how to do it, being his job, but his character and posture towards the kid classes are perfect for us. He's leads with the heart of a teacher, and the care of a father. If you're a parent of interested students, strongly consider bringing them by and check it out. I'm personally thankful for this now being part of my family's life. Original Post (May '24): I've been living here in Easley for over 12 years now, hoping for a great BJJ gym to come to our area. Christmas came early, y'all! Alliance Easley is the place you want to be. Kenny and his team are incredible. I walked in with zero experience—never stepped on a mat, never wore a uniform, nothing. In my introductory lesson, Kenny was thorough but not intimidating, and that's exactly how I've found the culture and space to be. Now, I'm part of the 'Fundamentals Group' classes and have gone from wondering if I would enjoy attending class to eagerly anticipating the next one. If you're even considering checking it out, just come and meet Kenny yourself. He's the real deal, and you'll be glad you did.

I have recently started my martial arts training Alliance Jiu Jitsu of Easley. I was a wrestler in a previous life. My son and I are doing classes together and we have nothing but great things to say about all aspects of this gym. My son, age 5, really enjoys his class and even asks to continue practicing when coming home. It has really sparked an interest in him. Watching him, he has tons of fun in class as well. As for me, I think Kenny Faith is a legit black belt and instructor. He knows how to teach and adjust for all different learning style that happen to be on the mat that day. My fellow students all have a really great positive attitude that originates and is reinforced by Kenny. Simply put, I am extremely satisfied with the gym and look forward to spending many hours over the years training with Kenny.

Coach Kenny is a phenomenal instructor and practitioner! My brother has recently started training and so I drove up from Atlanta to get some mat time. The team at Alliance Easley was so welcoming and honoring of me as a guest. As a purple belt, I was able to join in and refine my technique but as well, see a culture where new practitioners are involved and not overwhelmed all while the more experienced were challenged. The athletes there were from multiple backgrounds, body types, and all with different goals they were trying to chase. Having dropped in and attended classes at many different schools, I can wholeheartedly recommend both Alliance Easley and coach Kenny for anyone looking to take a step in their jiu jitsu, fitness, mental health, or competition goals.

I started BJJ in 2019 out near Memphis. I moved back to SC May of 22 and struggled finding a gym that fit my needs. Alliance opened up a new one in Easley and it's fantastic. The mats are really nice and it's a great atmosphere. Processor Kenny is great at explaining the techniques and helping you understand where to put your weight or body when trying to grapple. I highly recommend Alliance Easley.

Kenny is absolutely amazing coach! I've trained many different places on my jui-jitsu journey and he has been one of the most helpful coaches by far. He has a huge knowledge of techniques and is able to hone in on what you need specifically to improve your game while still making time for everyone on the mat. As a small person, this has been incredibly helpful because often I feel like people aren't able to adapt their teaching to different styles. He also has a a great approach to mindset coaching and has pulled me out of a slump more than once!
