My daughter (age 8.5) started last year and absolutely loves All Star Martial Arts! I love that that it is family owned and such a positive place to be. She is determined to achieve her black belt and she is supported in that mission every class by Sensei, Senpai Jaden and Senpai Rhaisa! In addition, it is also a great group of kids who come from very caring and supportive families. All of the kids are encouraged to support one another and are taught very important lessons in a safe environment. Thank you, All Star Martial Arts!

Look no further for a karate school. Our son has been in the All Star Martial Arts family since 2018 and is currently a brown belt working toward his black belt. When I say a part of a family, there is nothing more true than this. Sensei Angel, Sempai Rhaisa and Sempai Jayden care immensely for each student and motivate them toward their goals both on and off the mat. Sensei is patient, motivating, fun and is so talented with his craft. It’s amazing watching each student grow with their confidence and karate curriculum. We feel so lucky to have found ASMA!!

I have been kickboxing with Angel and Rhaisa at All Star Martial Arts ever since they opened! Their kickboxing classes are challenging and high-energy, but they also know how to make them fun. I always get a great overall body workout and I find it to be a great alternative to running. Angel and Rhaisa are awesome! I definitely recommend this studio!!!

Our kids have been enrolled at all star martial arts for the last few years. Sensai has been incredible in helping them get focused and stay motivated. Every class is full of energy and excitement. They also have great birthday parties!

My daughter has been a student at this school since 2020, and it has been an exceptional experience for her. The dedication of Sensei and Senpai is remarkable they take an individualized approach to each child, ensuring they stay engaged and motivated. As someone who practiced martial arts myself, I can confidently say that their training methods are spot on. They focus on refining technique while creating an environment that challenges and entertains the kids simultaneously. My daughter, now a Brown 3, is steadily progressing towards her black belt. At this school, belts aren’t just handed out for attendance, you truly have to earn them. Each belt test is increasingly challenging, pushing the students to grow and excel. I highly recommend All Star Martial Arts to anyone interested in karate. It’s a fantastic place to learn discipline, skill, and the true spirit of martial arts.

I’ve been going for almost a year now to the adult kickboxing classes and I can't say enough good things about this place! Sensei Angel and Senpai Rhaisa are so welcoming and create such a positive and encouraging environment. The classes are challenging in the best way possible—pushing you to improve while still being so much fun. Whether you're just starting out or have more experience, you'll feel supported and motivated every step of the way. Absolutely LOVE All Star Martial Arts in Chester! Our son has been going there for almost 2 years now and he has not stopped loving it for one second! Not only do kids learn karate skills and train like athletes, they learn to treat others with respect, build confidence, tamp down their anger, just to name a few! If you've been on the fence whether your kid should try karate then this is the best place to start!

This is the best place to be!! My son has shown more confidence within himself! Sensei, Sempi Rhaisa, Sempi Jayden have been incredible!! Providing positive reinforcements, praise, and positive attitudes, these children (my son included) are excelling. They are taught respectfulness, being a team player and having fun. This amazing team of wonderful people keep the classes upbeat and change the routine to make sure no one regressed. In part to this, they treat your family as their family, which connects Sensei and both Sempi's to the children, making lasting impressions, connections, and memories.

Sensei and Sempai are incredible—patient, encouraging, and truly invested in each child's growth. They create a fun, motivating atmosphere where the kids feel safe and excited to learn. What makes ASMA stand out is the strong sense of community. The staff genuinely cares about every student’s progress, always going above and beyond to help them succeed. We’re so grateful for the impact All Star Martial Arts has had on our kids and couldn’t imagine training anywhere else. Highly recommend! If I could give ten stars, I would!!

We love our All Star Martial Arts family! Our boys have been attending karate classes at this school for 6 years, and will not quit! If you are looking for a martial arts school that teaches your children discipline, focus, body strengthening, self-control, and respect, then look no further…Sensei Angel, Senpai Rhaisa, and Senpai Jayden are amazing. They welcome you as part of their family and encourage children to be their very best, on and off the mat. Everyone is there to support one another and lift each other up. Their kickboxing classes are awesome too - I even joined myself!

We started our kids at All Star Martial Arts in early 2021. Just as everything was starting to go back to normal. We wanted somewhere that we knew they would be in a safe and healthy environment. We looked at multiple dojo's and talked to each Sensei. None of them felt right. After meeting Sensei Angel, we knew we had found the right place. His love for teaching his students not only karate, but how to be the best version of themselves, was apparent. After nearly 4 years, he, Senpai Rhaisa, and Senpai Jayden have become part of the family. The dojo has become part of our family time. Our second home. If you are looking for somewhere to instill the values of strong character, even temper, and a strong work ethic than look no farther. You will find no place better than All Star Martial Arts and Kickboxing.

All Star Martial Arts has become a second family for us!! Sensei Angel, Senpai Rhaisa and Senpai Jayden are some the most genuine people I know! Our son happened upon their Dojo during a birthday party 2 yrs ago, and now he is a Purple 2 belt! He has learned discipline and skills that not everyone can teach, but Sensei Angel can! Sensei Angel, Senpai Rhaisa, and Senpai Jayden have become family!! They are there for all of their students inside outside the dojo! We wholeheartedly give them a 5/5 rating!

My girls absolutely LOVE taking Karate at All Star Martial Arts!!! Not only are the classes so fun the kids are smiling the entire time, they also focus on their character development- practicing courtesy, respect, controlling temper, being sincere and honest. We have noticed a dramatic improvement in both of our daughters behavior since starting and are so grateful! They ask me every single day if it’s a “karate day” because they love it so much ! Cannot say enough good things! The adult kickboxing classes are also a blast!!

A great place, located in Chester. Another great place is All-Star Taekwon-Do in West Caldwell. They offer self-defense as well. I love it, because of the world class instruction and a beautiful group of practitioners.

I started kickboxing with Angel and Rhaisa in August 2021. I have never met two people who are so dedicated to their craft as these two! Angel and Rhaisa really know how to bring out the best in a person, and make them realize their true potential. The support they show all of their students (young and old) is unmatched, and they help you feel more confident. And, they are so encouraging! If you're looking to get fit, or if you're looking to enroll your young ones in martial arts, THIS is the place to be! You will be in great hands with this team. They are also very diligent with all cleaning and health checks. After every class they wipe down every available surface (chairs, counters, etc), as well as wipe down all of the equipment. Temp screening and hand sanitizer are always available too. If you're looking to have fun while getting fit, RUN NOW to All Star. You won't be disappointed. :)

I have been attending kickboxing classes at All Star for a few weeks now and I am already seeing results! It is definitely a full body workout that leaves you sore afterwards. Angel knows how to push you to do your best and is always there to help you work on your technique. Rhaisa has also been very friendly and encouraging. I would recommend kickboxing at All Star if you are looking to get in shape and improve your overall health while developing martial arts skills.

My son, Dylan, started at All Star Martial Arts back in October of last year. In the last few months, Dylan, has grown more confident about what he is capable of doing. My shy, 8 year old son is now soaring in his classes and has made it to the leadership black belt classes! He loves going to class and he has so much fun! Sensei is amazing with the children and never pressures them. He makes lessons fun and runs a well structured, well disciplined class. He teaches the students respect, discipline and encourages them to do their best every day! These last few months have been amazing for my son. Signing Dylan up for classes at All Star Martial Arts has been one of the best things we have done for him. My family and I strongly recommend All Star Martial Arts!

This school is amazing! I have known the owner Angel Sarmiento for a long time and you will be blown away at his abilities as an instructor. The dedication he shows to the students in his kids karate program and his adult kickboxing program is unparalleled. If you are in the area go check this place out!
