The staff here are awesome! My daughter was welcomed so warmly by everyone when she started. We’ve only been there a little while but it feels like much longer.

I cannot say better things about Acadiana jujitsu and staff! Waylon is 3 and very strong willed, he was struggling with following directions and just being still in general, the staff and coaches have help tremendously. After just 3 weeks we noticed a huge difference- he is a different child 2 months in. Yes, he’s still a 3 yr old rambunctious boy but, he has learned patience skill, self defense, and much more. We cannot say enough good things about “Jitsu”.

Hands down, best in Lafayette and surrounding areas. They are wonderful teachers and instructors. They genuinely care about their students. And their pricing is the best in town. 10/10 recommend. And their new building I'd spacious with a good mixture of girls and boys.

A little over 2 yrs. ago, I was looking for motivation to stay fit and a way to keep learning new things. As I was driving home, I passed Acadiana Jiu Jitsu and stopped in with a question. "At 72 yoa, am I too old to take classes?" Heath Henry, the owner and a black belt said,"no. Try a free class and see, it's fun." Well, 2 yrs later, 10 lbs lighter, and feeling healthier, I'm still rolling multiple times a week. I also have made a lot of younger new friends. Heath has just expanded to a new facility in the same shopping center and it's super nice. There's something for everyone: kids, teenagers and adult classes in jiu jitsu, yoga, and mixed martial arts. Yes, it's air conditioned and the instructors are excellent. Check it out.
