Kru Jeff is the best - he takes the time to explain everything and demonstrate it step by step. I feel like it’s truthfully a class and learning the art form of Muay Thai to the fullest extent, on top of getting a good workout. I highly highly recommend!

Came from out of town to work for a week, found this gym and was definitely happy training there. Lots of space, they have all the equipment, great teachers and awesome students! This will be my go to when i'm in town!
This place is amazing!! I have my 12yr old daughter and 8yr old son enrolled in both the bjj and muay thai classes and they love it. They've learned so much in the short two months they've been enrolled and look forward to each class. The coaches are great and teach the kids proper form and technique.

Friendly and great place to learn and train. I only did Muaythai here with KRU Jeff, and I loved my time spent with him and the other students. Best, and potentially only, place to do Muaythai in the Brownsville area, and had I been down here longer I would've loved to continue training with him.

Outstanding martial arts gym. The Muai Thai instructor is great, the atmosphere is fun, welcoming but also technical. You will learn a lot of skills that you can use for the rest of you life if you practice.

My daughter and I tried both classes just less than a hour ago, and I just have to share how absolutely great our whole experience was. My daughter has had issues in school with bullying, and just this first class alone I saw an instant change in her over all self esteem and confidence. We both felt welcomed and comfortable the entire time. I couldn't have asked for a more welcome experience, and greater outcome after seeing my daughter's attitude change entirely after.
Cant even explain how great this martial arts is, and the peers and kru himself are amazing people. 100% recommended to anyone out there looking to start a new journey.

I came across 8ight Limbs Academy by happenstance. I was in Harlingen visiting family and I decided to do a “drop in” not expecting too much. The gym and Kru Jeff far exceeded. Awesome gym. Great instructing. Kru Jeff will help you hone your abilities no matter what level you are on in your Martial Arts journey. I have had a couple fights and have been training for a few years and found his personal, hands on instructing so valuable that i went back as many days as I could. He pointed out old habits as well as teaching a few combos that I can incorporate. Muay Thai is one of my favorite sports and it was great to have an instructor whose enthusiasm surpasses mine. 👍🏻👍🏻
I travel a lot for work and I'm always looking for a place to train Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. I found 8ight Limbs Academy online and decided to try it out and I am glad I did. The facility has everything you need from punching/kicking bags, a full Thai boxing ring and plenty of mat space for rolling (Jiu Jitsu). KRU Jeff is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor, he took the time to show me techniques and most importantly explain why he was teaching said technique and its applications. It's a good training environment whether it's your first time stepping on the mats, or you've been training for years, you'll feel welcomed and get some valuable training and knowledge along the way. KRU Jeff even gave me a ride back to my hotel to save me an Uber expense, much appreciated! Give 8ight Limbs Academy a visit, you won't be disappointed. 5/5

My 2 kids have been going for a year straight now and they love it. Jeff is very particular he makes sure you get it right and always goes the extra mile to help you out.
We took our kids this summer to try it out for 1 day. The kids loved it and so did we. Over just 2 months we have seen their confidence grow. The instructors are awesome and work with each kid within the group. The kids are challenged every day and are coached to bring out the best in them. I was so impressed, I joined the adult classes. Awesome place to train!
8Limbs has such a welcoming environment for all levels of training. On top of being pushed to your limits, our coaches constantly push us to exceed our best effort during each training session. You will leave here better than you came regardless of whether your goal is self defense, self enrichment, or excelling as a professional competitor.
My child absolutely loves this program! The coach is very attentive and works well with all children. I would recommend 10 out of 10 times for all aged children and even children with disabilities!
I brought over my daughter from a place across town. I won’t name names but the other place became about the money and would graduate to the next belt without much thought. It doesn’t make sense for my daughter to be a “high belt” but can’t defend herself. So my wife and I researched around and came in for a free session. We all loved it. Been a member now for over a month and I’ve seen my daughter grow so much. She loves the place and the coaches. Everyone (including the other parents) are super nice and friendly. They train hard and I appreciate the attention to detail that they expect. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going to 8ight Limbs Academy for a few months now, and I honestly cannot say one negative thing about it. I’ve had training in JiuJitsu and Muay Thai, but as soon as I went into the doors of 8ight Limbs, all of my problems were pointed out. All of the trainers there are professional, and have years of experience. My skills have gone so much further then I could have ever expected because of this gym. If you’re looking for a gym that teaches you discipline, respect, and good moral values, then this is the place to go.

My son attended this academy for a few months, then COVID hit. I’ve enrolled him again now that things have slowed down with the virus and this place is very professional, clean, and sanitized! Definitely recommend! My son loves it!
It's been hard finding a sport my son likes. 8 limbs has captivated his attention. He loves the fact that there is contact fighting since day 1 and he looks forward to attending classes. Students are challenged and trained to give 100% in order to earn/rank and the fees are very reasonable; I highly recommend this academy. 💪👍💪👍

I was in town for a couple of days and needed a spot to train. I walked in here and was greeted by everyone and felt like part of the group. I got one on one instruction and fixed some basic striking techniques that I was not throwing properly. Highly recommend. Good gym with good energy and people.

My now 12 year old daughter has been attending 8ightlimbs for several months and she is certainly more confident. She is growing with the direction of several different level of instructors; all of which show a compassion to the art and sport. I’ve been going to 8 Limbs on and off for quiet sometime. Being as I work with professional fighters I see to it that I understand fundamentals of what they go through. That being said I’ve gotten many complements when I have a break and train with them. Without 8 Limbs I wouldn’t have any fundamentals and feel as confident as I do. I highly recommend you to atleast give it a try. 💯💯👊🔥

Black belt does not coach your kids in tournaments. Muay thai is great though. Also no kid coach does not show up all the time to coach.
