608 Jiu Jitsu was founded in 2023 to give people in Cross Plains, Middleton, and the surrounding communities a welcoming place to learn high-quality jiu jitsu without ego or intimidation. Our school is built around quality instruction, consistent training, and teammates who help each other improve. Some members train to compete, some train for fitness, and some just want a challenging hobby that keeps them coming back. Whatever brings you in, you'll find a supportive room where beginners are coached with patience, experienced students are pushed to grow, and progress is built one class at a time.

608 Jiu Jitsu is awesome! This is my first experience doing jiu jitsu, and so far it has been so much fun. Coach Josh is incredibly helpful and welcoming to new students. It's obvious he takes his role seriously and dedicates himself to teaching. The other students are also very friendly. There is a wonderful mix of male and female practitioners, as well as ranks. Everyone seems eager to help each other improve, and there is very little ego on the mat. If you want to try jiu jitsu but are unsure where to go, I highly recommend 608.

First jiu jitsu experience and it was great. The owner Josh was very welcoming, knowledgeable and dedicated to providing an understanding of the technique. He is very patient and you get a sense that he really understands the value of being a good teacher to his students. Would definitely recommend for all ages.

608JiuJitsu was my second attempt at getting into Jiujitsu, after I found the first one somewhat intimidating and uncomfortable. Coach Josh is super approachable, knowledgeable, and patient, taking frequent breaks for questions and interruptions when teaching a skill. The community he's managed to bring together in his gym is a bunch of friendly and passionate people. I highly recommend this as a place to start your Jiujitsu journey or continue it.

I was ecstatic when I found out 608JiuJitsu opened up in Cross Plains. I live in Middleton so my communte is only 8 mins! My excitement about the proximity of the school that I call my 2nd home is only exceeded by the awesome group of deciated students that I get to train with and Coach Josh's instructions; his passion and dedication for jiujitsu is very evident. Tuition prices are very reasonable and you have the opportunity to learn a martial art that has been tried and tested, pressure tested.
