Conor Marron Head Coach

Head coach Conor Marron runs the majority of the classes and has almost 10 years martial arts experience. He regularly competes and has notable wins at Grapple Kings and Chaos Grappling, as well as Irish and Northern Irish titles and a European bronze medal.

Ryan O’Neill

Blue Belt

Coach Ryan is currently a blue belt under coach Conor Marron. He started training at 37 JiuJitsu in 2022 and plays an important role within the kids class.

Tim Mccallister

Purple Belt

Coach Tim is currently a purple belt with years of experience. He competes often, has a European Championships bronze medal and regularly wins local competitions; he also steps in to coach the adults class.

My 14-year-old son absolutely loves training at 37 Jiu Jitsu. From the very beginning, the Connor have been fantastic— very supportive, and encouraging of beginners and genuinely invested in helping the kids improve both on and off the mats. My son’s confidence, fitness, and skills have all improved since joining, and he looks forward to every session. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into creating a positive environment for everyone. As a parent, it’s great to see him enjoying something so much while learning valuable life skills at the same time. I would highly recommend 37 Jiu Jitsu to any parent - thanks to Connor and his team.

I highly recommend starting your BJJ journey at 37 Jiu Jitsu. Conor is a brilliant coach and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and there’s a strong emphasis on safety throughout the classes.

Heard about it from another person, came along to the beginner course and it was great, Conor (the coach) is a great coach and is full of knowledge of the sport and makes the sessions enjoyable. The gym is always clean and tidy and the atmosphere in it is great. Would highly recommend 37Jiu-Jitsu to everyone

I joined 37JiuJitsu with no prior experience and it’s been a great decision. From day one, the focus on training safely really stood out, which makes it a comfortable place to learn and build confidence. Conor explains things in a way that’s easy to understand and makes sure everyone is progressing without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. What really sets the place apart is the atmosphere. Everyone is approachable and willing to help, which makes settling in much easier as a beginner. There’s a strong sense of community and it’s clear a lot of effort has gone into creating that environment. Whether you’re completely new or just looking to try something different, I’d definitely recommend giving it a go!

I started off with one of the recent beginners courses, and then went on to train with the main group. Everyone in the gym is very welcoming, and Conor has done a great job for creating a great atmosphere for all levels in BJJ. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in trying something new.

Been training at 37JiuJitsu for a few months now and can't recommend it enough. Safety is a key focus throughout all sessions, Connor is incredibly knowledgeable, great at teaching and has created a fantastic culture with a gym full of members happy to introduce and educate new members to the sport

I can highly recommend 37 Jiu Jitsu for kids classes. Conor is a high level BJJ athlete and an experienced coach. My son loved the classes, and Conor recognises the need for kids to have fun while they learn. He keeps them focused and you can see development with the class, it’s great to see. He is very patient and encouraging, classes are a good size and have a good child to coach ratio for the children’s safety and development. Highly recommended!

One of the best gyms I’ve ever trained in, for both gi and no-gi grappling. There is a great, welcoming atmosphere at the gym, with high level coaching from one of the top competitors in Ireland/Europe. Would 100% recommend to anyone
