I've been training at 360 Defense Middletown for two years now. When I first began seeking a program, I chose 360 Middletown because of the community. The instructors are welcoming, and members are always kind and know how to have fun! Kayla is understanding and finds ways to give back to the community, such as donating proceeds from a seminar to local domestic violence shelters. They also march in Middletown Pride every year and are one of the most inclusive gyms I've been to. AND I know the training works! A big reason I started training was commuting and working in NYC by myself a few days a week, and I was prepared when someone tried to grab my bag. I felt strong and knew I could defend myself if I needed. I could not thank 360 Middletown enough for that.

Nothing but love for Kayla and her 360 Team! My daughter loved her friend's birthday party and attending Buddy Week at 360! She's now enrolled and about to finish her first year. She even hosted her own birthday party at 360! Thanks for everything! Paul

This school is simply incredible! The classes are an incredible workout while still being so much fun. I was never someone who thought martial arts would be for them, but going to 360 every night was the highlight of my day for over two years. I did both the adult jiu jitsu and adult krav programs, and both did so much to improve my confidence in myself and what my body is capable of achieving. The community is so open and welcoming, and everyone is just there to have a great time and learn together. I met so many amazing individuals through the program and can not recommend 360 enough.

360 Defense is an absolutely wonderful martial arts school. All of the instructors are so kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. It's apparent from the start that they want to see you succeed. The other students are incredibly friendly, and the environment as a whole is inclusive and warm. You are guaranteed to leave class feeling better than when you came in, and the self confidence you gain through your training is unmatched. I highly encourage anyone who is thinking of starting or continuing their martial arts journey to join.

It's definitely a fun, learning experience, especially during Monday, and Wednesday morning classes. Including Coach Kayla herself, for providing me, that fun experience. I definitely recommend coming down here.

Amazing studio. Helped immensely with 4 year olds behavioral issues. This place is a miracle. So welcoming to LGTBQ families. Such a gift to Middletown community. Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars if possible. All instructors are fabulous!!

Great studio! Kayla is an extremely knowledgeable instructor who creates a positive, inclusive environment for all. The other members you train along with are very supportive and want to help you improve while also meeting you where you're at. You will over time be able to develop the skills to react if a real life situation were to occur where you need to defend yourself, which is a skill everyone can benefit from, even if you must get out of your comfort zone first!

Going to 360 has been one of the greatest investments in myself I could have made. It has helped me with anxiety, developing confidence, and made me stronger mentally and physically. I cannot recommend this place enough. Kayla and all of the instructors are welcoming, helpful, and empowering. The tools taught are so practical and useful, and as a woman, I find I feel more capable of protecting myself should I need to. Give yourself the gift of checking 360 out!

My son has been training here for almost 3 years, and my daughter started this past spring. Kayla and all the staff do a great job keeping the kids engaged and learning. She also creates a community that emphasizes self control, respect, and responsibility. One great thing I’ve noticed is that she provides leadership opportunities for the older kids to help the younger, creating a closer community of leaders/role models and increased motivation for all

Great place for kids starting out, with professional staff that is flexible and supportive & classes for all ages and levels of expertise. And fitness kickboxing classes are fun for those more gym-focused goals!

I cannot express how grateful I am to have found 360. The instructors are absolutely phenomenal. They truly care about their students and actively engage and encourage at every class. My son has been here for 3 years and I love seeing his progress and confidence grow. Not to mention it’s been an amazing outlet for all of his energy. I started taking fitness kickboxing here a year ago and my physical and mental health has never been better. Literally addicted to the classes! Every week the classes are different and HARD ! But in the best way! modifications are always available and I love being able to challenge myself every week while learning basic self defense moves too!

This is a very well run martial arts program. My daughter (8 yo) enjoys the classes and learns many valuable lessons along the way. The instructor is excellent with the kids! She keeps a good balance of correction, encouragement and keeping the class moving. This is less important, but the studio itself has a really nice aesthetic. It feels as though you have entered a place of purpose. Overall, as a parent, I don't dread taking my daughter to a class, and my daughter enjoys the experience.

I joined 360 about 18 months ago looking for a good workout where i would also gain valuable skills. 360 has been awesome on both fronts. Not only are the classes feasible at whatever fitness level you are but the community I found has been wonderful. Great group of people always helping and motivating each other to keep pushing. It has been fun but I'm also seeing the results on my body. My daughter, who is almost 5 just started as well and loves it.

Kayla is incredibly kind, and the atmosphere is not intimidating for new students at all! She is very good at creating a supportive learning environment. I also appreciate that 360 likes to get involved in local volunteering and fundraising. All shapes/sizes/colors/genders/religions welcome!

Prior to my experience at 360 Defense Middletown I had never trained martial arts regularly. I had tried BJJ and Tae-Kwon-Do on a trial basis but nothing that really stuck. I always felt out of place, an awkward adult amongst a bunch of kids who had been training for years. Unlike other martial arts schools I had tried out, 360 Defense Middletown’s students range widely in age and skill level which immediately made me feel more comfortable as a new student (I was 28 when I started). Everyone I have met and trained with at the school has been friendly, kind, helpful, and inclusive. The owner and operator of 360 Defense Middletown, Sensei Kayla, is an excellent instructor who makes the curriculum challenging but at the same time fun. The techniques taught are attainable regardless of your training history, age, or physical fitness level. The classes are a balanced blend of conditioning exercises, self-defense techniques, and kickboxing drills. At the end of each class I feel accomplished in the sense that I am both improving my physical fitness and my knowledge of martial arts. At the time I write this, it has been almost a year since I first walked into 360 Defense Middletown. I train 1-3 times per week and often find class the highlight of my day after all the stress of work. I feel my time at 360 has improved my fitness, self-awareness, mood, and obviously martial arts knowledge. I cannot recommend this school enough, if you have any interest in learning to better defend yourself and have fun while doing it, stop by and give it a try!

I've been going to 360 in Middletown for almost a year and it was the best decision I ever made. It's a great way to meet new people while getting in shape and growing your self-confidence. The atmosphere is very welcoming and accepting, it makes everyone feel like family.

We love 360! It’s a beautiful brand new physical space that is warm and welcoming. Kayla is amazing! She is so energetic and patient with all the kids. We love that she focuses on the whole child- physical strength, emotional goals, education and character building. I know that the experience our son is having will have a lasting impact.

Walking into a Martial Arts/ Krav class can be immensely intimidating, down right scary....or so I thought. 360 Defense Middletown was extremely welcoming and non judge mental. Everyone is working at their own pace while encouraging one another to push a little further. I am so happy I decided to start my training at 360 under Kayla Stomberg. If you’re thinking about trying it look no further. 1 month in for me and could not be happier with my decision. Super clean, modern space, friendly people, REAL world self defense and a kick a__ trainer. Go now!

A great school! Sensei Stomberg is one of the best martial arts instructors I've known. Classes are high-intensity but the atmosphere is very welcoming, making it a great choice for all levels of students!

I highly recommend this school and the 360 Defense program. Sensei Stomberg is as talented as they come as a martial artist and as good as they come as a person. You will receive a top notch workout and the instruction comes with patience, drive and skill. Go to this school and you will see how strong your body and mind become...it will truly amaze you no matter what your age may be; no matter what your gender may be. Hands down one of the best things I have ever done. Take the journey... I promise you that you won’t regret it.

I did BJJ here and it was a lot of fun. But, the program was cancelled out of no where. The BJJ program was the best there.
