Best gym in the state. Family friendly and the staff are amazing. Had 4 kiddos in the kids program and will add two more when ready. Anything they can do to help in and outside the gym they do!

This is a great place to train jiujutsu. The Academy is extremely clean. They have one the best open mats in San Antonio area with plenty of advance practitioners to roll with. Great Family, friendly environment. Highly recommended

Welcoming environment, great coaches, great training partners, and great jiujitsu system. I started here a couple years ago and recommend it to anyone interested. Wether you’re just starting or looking for a new gym, 10th Planet San Antonio is the place to go!

An actually friendly martial arts place with such a variety of ages and they're all smiling. Zero sales pressure as well.

Wow, this place is beyond anything you can ask for. A full combat gym plus highly experienced coaches and professors. Everyone's friendly and matches your effort every step of the way. The one thing I love about this place is seeing the coaches continuing to compete when they see fit, you hardly see that at an established BJJ gym. Absolutely love it!

Chillest squad of killers in the San Antonio area! In town for 6 weeks and my BJJ coach told me this is the gym I need to be training at while I'm in the SA area. He wasn't wrong. The quality of training partners is only eclipsed by the quality of instruction. Large space. Clean. Professional. Good price. No contract. No loop holes. Just a passion for Jiu Jitsu here! You must stop in if you're passing through SA.

1) ORGANIZED - It was VERY easy to sign up for a free class online and they have a nice app that allows you to sign the safety policy agreement and look at the date & time you are scheduled for. This was nice to not have to show up and sign a bunch of paperwork. 2) FRIENDLY - Everyone was really friendly. I showed up fat and out of shape. I haven't worked out for almost a year due to the Covid pandemic. They made me feel welcome and made sure to walk me through warming up and being part of the group. There wasn't a uniform code either. I showed up in a pair of basketball shorts and a t-shirt and they were completely fine with it. I definitely recommend a rash guard and grappling shorts long term, but if it's your first time there's no need to be afraid about appearance or not having professional gear. I am in such poor physical condition I couldn't finish the first class but they were supportive of me going at my own pace. 3) CLEAN & SAFE - No tough guy attitudes at all and their mats space is exceptionally clean. There is a foot wash area every person uses before coming onto the mats. If you're thinking about checking out grappling classes, 10th Planet San Antonio is really worth checking out. It can feel intimidating to walk into a new gym but you don't have to worry about that at all here. It was so easy to just sign up online, show up, and enjoy the class.

I could write a book on the things I love about 10PSA but in a nutshell: awesome learning environment, awesome classmates with super patient/talented coaches, all levels train together and the more experienced guys are always great about helping you out when you're new, military/family rate is awesome (enrolled my timid daughter and shes doing awesome). Also love that their strength/conditioning class and mobility/recovery class are very BJJ-focused; BJJ is about going hard so its nice to learn how to cool down and recover from it.

A top pick for JiuJitsu in San Antonio. I’ve been to 100 JiuJitsu schools across the country, and 10th Planet San Antonio is an excellent example of the kind of place you want to train at. Knowledgeable and patient instructors, a great community of friendly and technical students, the mats are thoroughly cleaned in between classes, and the amenities available like showers are an added bonus. I’ve been training here for 6 weeks and have been continuously impressed, and would recommend this to a well seasoned practitioner or someone just starting out.

Top notch! Ant is a fantastic instructor. Everyone, staff and patrons alike, is very friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of classes throughout the day for different levels of jiu jitsu, stretch and mobility, and conditioning. I can’t praise them enough. Military friendly and right up the road from Randolph.

I’ve been coming to 10th Planet SA for a few months now, and I love everything about this gym. The coaches- Ant, Lon, Michelle and Roman- are all knowledgeable and make you feel really comfortable even if you’re messing everything up. They take the time to help you improve and genuinely care about your progress. The thing I love most about this gym is how friendly everyone is. It is super family oriented. I was super intimidated to try Jiu Jitsu, but it was all love when I walked into this gym. Give it a try!!!

Right now I train here along with my four year old son. I trained about ten years ago and since the gym I went to closed down, I’ve never really found a home gym for one reason or another. Here at 10th Planet, there’s no doubt that this is the gym to be at. For the adult classes, Ant and Ro really do a great job of helping out, breaking down techniques, and really being patient with us. For my son, I can’t say enough about coach Ant and the other coaches. They are always so encouraging with my son, working with him, being patient with him, and really encompassing what martial arts means for him. He loves going to BJJ every day and get so much pride from what he learns. I would recommend this gym in a heart beat for all those shopping around for a solid BJJ gym.

When looking for a Gym I found that Ant offered down to earth advise and instruction. Also the commitment to mat cleanliness is unwavering. It doesn’t hurt that for the excellent price I can show up to any & all classes if you’re up for a challenge. And after a awesome workout, showers are available. Did I mention that peers are excellent and accepting of all who wish to learn! Thanks.

Fresh meat coming in, you’ll dig this studio! I came in with minimal self defense at another studio. I was pretty nervous starting out, still am sometimes, but this group of coaches & fellow attendees really make you feel welcome. I get inspired each time I’m on the mat and now get more pumped for the next roll. No one would be disappointed to attend. Best decision I made since moving to San Antonio.

10th Planet is on top of the Jiu-Jitsu food chain so why would you train anywhere else? Do you see a Grace Barra Quintet? No. Sub-Only is the future and IBJJF is on its way out. Join with the future of Jiu Jitsu and help this Rad team stay on top.

I started training here since it opened in July 2018. It has been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. It's a great full body workout with high intensity. I have been to some other jui Jitsu places and have had trouble training cause no instructor would show for the class, not here. The head coaches are always here on time for every class. The schedule is accommodating to everyone from early 7am class to the lunch class at 11:30am, to a beginner class at 7pm and advanced at 8pm. There is also two kids classes everyday. I recommend everyone to visit and train here. Great coaches great partners to train with and a great schedule.

I’m very glad I found a home base at 10th Planet San Antonio. Head instructor Anthony provides incredible detail when facilitating class all while keeping the energy fun and positive. The facility has brand new mats with plenty of room to roll, showers and a lounge area with tv to watch jiu jitsu matches. Follow the FB page or Instagram to keep up with guest instructors that come thru weekly!

The newest 10th Planet Satellite school just opened in San Antonio, if you know what 10P is all about then you already know what to expect! If you are new to the competition Jiu Jitsu world than the best place to start is with the EBI submission only style.
