There is absolutely nothing like tactical cuddling at 10th Planet Perry Ga!!!
My son loved this place! Great ownership and instructors across the board!
Coach Steven is an amazing guy and his people are amazing as well.
Great and safe place to train. very knowledgeable coach and good crew legit no-gi. Best place to train around!! (I drive a little less than 2 hours to train here and its very much worth it)
Coach Eakin has a wealth of knowledge and shares it in a manner which makes advanced techniques accessible to even the newest students.
This is a amazing place to become a true martial artist. They help them to learn how to control their body and mind which in turn benefits them in so many ways. Thank you 10th planet yall have been a amazing family to join.
There's so much to praise coach Stephen for and the amazing gym he runs but all I will say is that the training I've done here in the past 7 months has changed my life. Seriously you will change as a person for the better. More confidence, more happiness, better physical fitness, and you will accelerate in every other part of your life as a result of learning this amazing art.
I was new to the sport and culture 6 months ago and now I'm 6 months in a cannot be happier in life or with the knowledge of jiu jitsu I have already obtained. I am more focused, determined, confident than I ever have been. All thanks to coach Stephen and his program. 10/10 reccomend
Awesome jiujitsu academy! Stephen is a world class instructor! Great family atmosphere friendly and clean
Having binge watched Cobra Kai on Netflix, I became enthralled with the martial arts, especially Kara-Tay. I walked in and met Stephen. Sensei Stephen (he prefers I don’t call him that) told me he doesn’t teach UFC or Kara-Tay, but instead specializes in No-gi Jiu-Jitsu. (No-gi just means you don’t wear a kimono, not that you’re wearing nothing. Apparently it makes other people feel more comfortable). I signed up and wow, all I can say is that Sensei Stephen possesses a wealth of knowledge, first-hand fighting experience, and the ability to transfer this knowledge to others, no matter what your IQ is.
Amazing facility with programs for all ages and skill levels run by a professional athlete that has competed and applied his martial arts at the highest levels of mixed martial arts, Brazilian jiu jitsu, and submission grappling! THAT makes the training at 10th Planet Perry location second to none in the area. Coach Stephen Eakin is as good as it gets!
This is the purest grappling culture you can find in the area. You will be welcomed and taken care of on the mats no matter what your skill level or experience. Brand new students are always welcomed right into the team and experienced grapplers will be respected for their skill and wisdom from day one. The 10th Planet pedigree is globally recognized and the Head Coach and Owner, Stephen, carries that pedigree into this gym and does a phenomenal job of conveying technique, mindset and correct attitude to every level. You will grow as a whole person just by showing up!
I am a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blackbelt and have been training for nearly 14 years. I know what a great coach and training environment looks like and this is it. Professor Stephen has leveled up my game by adding techniques and fine tuning details. Whether you are beginning your Jiu Jitsu journey or you’ve been in the game a while this is an amazing place to train.
If you’re in the middle GA area looking to train some 10th planet jiujitsu then this is the place for you! The instructor is very well spoken and knowledgeable!
The owner, Professor Stephen, is a high level black belt and professional mixed martial artist. His gym allows for students of all levels to learn, hone, and test their skills in an environment free from egos or drama. Come check out Stephen's new spot out in Perry, GA.
The head instructor Stephen Eakin is amazing, from Jiu -Jitsu, all areas of striking and MMA he can do and teach it all.
My son and I had never done Jiu Jitsu that didn’t matter to coach Stephen, he welcomed us with open arms and now we both love it. Great place for adults and children.
Great place for adults and kids a like. Made to feel part of the family and Stephen caters to all levels. So many time options available Wether u are beginner or high level, 10th Planet Perry is definitely the place to be.
This place is great! My kids love coming and learning. Professor Stephen is the best!!
I’ll put it this way: if I lived next door to a different Jiu Jitsu school and Steve’s gym was an hour away, I would still train at Steve’s gym. I can’t recommend him enough. He’s a great coach and a great person. He always acts with integrity and cares for his students. There are a lot of scumbags in the Jiu Jitsu world, so for me integrity is crucial. Especially when considering where to send your kids to train. There’s no one I’d trust more than Steve.
Outstanding gym. Highly recommended. Excellent value.
If you wish to learn an extremely effective self defense martial art, look no further than 10th planet Jiu Jitsu. Professor Stephen and Coach Jimmy have 30+ years combined experience in the grappling arts, and both are very fun to train with! The atmosphere is very friendly and ego-free, and trust me, you will get humbled very quickly! I definitely recommend this gym.
I love this place! You will feel like family! If you've never stepped on a mat or if you lived on one you will still learn so much! You will feel like you belong there. Like you're a part of something bigger than yourself! 10th Planet Perry! Stephen is the man!
I've known Stephen Eakin for over 9 years, its going to be hard to find a better instructor anywhere else on planet Earth.
Stephen is a World Class coach. Perry is very fortunate to have a traveled professional with roots in his community. His experience will show through when you take a class with him. Check the gym out seriously!!!
Stephen does a great job of creating a relaxed atmosphere that's enjoyable to learn in. Very professional and family friendly. He's super knowledgeable, very helpful, and just a great guy to be around. He breaks down every move so everyone can understand. Exactly what I've been looking for!
Stephen has one of the best down to earth teaching styles. He shows a technique and explains it in easy to understand terms. I would recommend anyone in the Perry Middle GA area to get some world class instruction. One of the nicest the people I've met in my years of grappling.
Stepen is a great teacher. His game is well rounded from fundamentals and self defense to the latest 10th Planet moves. He is very patient and easy going. I learned a lot from him and so did my wife who always enjoyed his classes.
Top notch training with the best coach ever!!!!! They’re truly the best!
