i started my jiu jitsu journey, thanks to We Defy Foundation, very much appreciate it, thank you. we defy gave me the opportunity to choose where I should go to begin my jiu jitsu journey and without no hesitation I chose 10th planet!!! no regrets!!! thank you to professor Andrew and coach Jeff, my journey has been great. although there are times my body, 56 y/o is saying no, I continue to push, cause I know it's going to be aight! their classes makes sure that all students learn appropriately and they're are no students left behind. no doubt it's not easy, but with their positive encouragement, they make sure you finish the class with positive vibes!!! thank you 10th planet, I will continue to push and train to the best of my ability. stay blessed!!! \m/

For a small amount of time I spent training at this academy (few months), 10 planet murrieta is the place to be at. Highly recommend taking their fundamental classes (morning or afternoon) and wrestling classes as both have improved my grappling game tremendously and have gotten me out of a plateau. Even if you’re an intermediate-high level grappler, you’ll definitely learn some new techniques or refine on some old ones. The coaches are amazing too. They take the time to check the techniques of every student and even offer some type of “roadmap” for the student’s own personal game/curiosity. If you’re a service member, veteran, or local law enforcement you’ll be right at home as there are plenty of people who are currently in (or retired) in the respective service. If you also want to work on your striking game, definitely check out the Muay Thai class on Saturday’s. Above all check them out!

Honestly the best work out sesh I’ve had in awhile!! Professor Drew and his team truly know how to bring the best out of you.. I’ve never done Jiu Jitsu in my life, but they made it easy to understand each move and took their time to work on my technique. Highly recommend 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu for anyone looking to take their workout to the next level!

This place feels like a second home for me. I always looked forward to coming to train whether that was for jiu jitsu, muay thai (now mma), or wrestling. The level of technique instruction provided by all of the coaches is second to none. 10th Planet Murrieta provides a sense of community that you will not find anywhere else.

Joining 10th planet jiu jitsu has been one of the best decisions I ever made. Coach Drew, Jonny, Jeff and Monica are not only amazing coaches, but they are incredibly supportive and are there for you on or off the mats. When you join this gym, you’re not just joining a team, you’re joining a family. But it’s not just the coaches, any one of the team members are willing to slow it down and help if you needed. 10P girl for life!!

Been training here for alittle over 3 years now. This place always has a great atmosphere of people and all of the coaches jiu jitsu knowledge is solid. At first, starting out I was really anxious to go but now it’s the highlight of my day to go train and learn. Coaches and teammates have always been welcoming. I love this place.

I’ve been training my Jiujitsu Under Coach Drew Murillo for the passes two year. He’s an amazing coach and mentor. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here at 10th planet Murrieta. He’s creating champions on and off the mats. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to start training or looking for a new school. Not to mention! He’s got an amazing striking program who’s taught by Coach Jeff. Go Check it out. 10/10

I am so happy I decided to go to 10th Planet! I had zero experience with jiu jitsu and the coaches helped every session if I had questions. The coaches are all very nice and humble assassins. Even at 33 years old this place has taught me so many life lessons and cant thank coach Jeff enough for all of his help this year!

Look no Further******************** We tried 4 other gyms after our trial class at 10th planet and immediately came back to sign up. This gym is the only location where my kids felt more of a family/community then just a number or their monthly income. The coaches are fully invested in your children and their success. Since joining we have seen tremendous growth in both of our daughters Jiu Jitsu, confidence and social life. Coach Drew, Jeff and Johnny are very supportive towards both kids and adults. My daughter has formed a friendship with some of the female adults and I must say Monica in the office is amazing with my daughter, always encouraging her, giving her tips, offering her support and inviting her to their women's only class on Saturday at 2 pm. When competing, the kids have no shortage of support, from the parents, their team and specially their coaches. We are very happy with our decision and will forever be part of the 10th planet Murrieta Family.

Excellent gym. Coach Jonny, Coach Drew, and Coach Jeff are some of the finest human beings I have ever met. They set an example for the gym and are very personable. The one thing I love most about this gym is that nobody has an ego. This makes it extremely welcoming to beginners, such as myself :) That being said, some may criticize the gym saying the people are too rough. This is not true at all. Jiu Jitsu is an intellectual pursuit with physical consequences.

The worlds gotten weird over the last two years and this has been my sanctuary for comradery and for things to feel normal. Just wished I had started BJJ sooner but better late then never even at 43. Great kids coaching as well

Coach Drew and his staff are excellent instructors. I’ve trained at other BJJ / JJ gyms. I prefer 10th Planet Murrieta. The drilling is demonstrated numerous times and the coaches answer questions before live drills. I highly recommend!

Coach Jeff is great with our kids here. Very insightful and gives them proper instruction without giving up on them. My son loves it and wants to be here 6 days a week for every class. We met coach Drew too and he is a very nice guy, as well as coach Tim helping with the kids on the mats. All a great team and you won't regret coming here.

My 11-year-old son started training at 10TH Planet Murrieta about year and a half ago. Coach Andrew Murillo, is systematic in his teaching of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the coaches are intelligent, methodical, and have a safety-first approach. I have to commend coach Andrew and all the coaches at 10th Planet Murrieta on the attention and focus given to the kids. The environment is warm, positive, and nurturing. My son, in particular, leaves every class with an endorphin high and a smile on his face. The training and positive reinforcement has given him a huge boost in confidence and self-esteem. The 10th Planet Murrieta facility is clean and spacious, and the environment couldn’t be any more positive. This place has done more than help me get in peak physical shape, it has helped me develop a philosophy that has turned me into a better person. Coach drew is so much more than a coach he’s a friend mentor and he actually cares more about the student than he does himself. The staff is next level and to be honest you won’t find a better place to work on your self physically spiritually and mentally. It’s my home away from home and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

I started training at 10th Planet Murrieta in August 2017 with Coach Drew. I had zero martial arts experience and needed something fun to get me in shape. Coach Drew has been an amazing teacher every step of the way. Every month we have a different theme (ex. Closed guard month) and build on that position the whole month. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in jiu jitsu.

After training for a few years in the gi my kids and I found 10th Planet Murrieta and haven't looked back. Coach Drew has a very good understanding of the 10th Planet System and is just as good at teaching it to others all while being enthusiastic about it.

My son has been at 10th Planet Murrieta for about a year and a half. He loves it. He is always excited to go, and always leaves there happy. I have seen his strength build, his confidence build, and his focus improve. My wife and I are both very happy with Coach Drew and the other instructors. They are professional, skilled, and also very nice. There is always great energy during the lessons. The instructors are big on keeping order in the class during lessons, and are not afraid to issue out burpies to those who are out of line. They expect discipline and focus, as they should. And this helps keep the class running smoothly so that time is not wasted. Overall, we are very happy we found 10th Planet and Coach Drew, and will be here for many years to come.

Amazing place to train, I never did a day of grappling and coach Drew, Jeff and Ruben all were extremely patient with getting me up to speed. Whether your trying to become a competitor in Jiu Jitsu or just train to get in shape this is the best place to do it. The other members are also very welcoming and helpful, they make you feel like part of a family not just part of a gym.

The coaches are good in the sense they know what they are doing, but they don't really take care of their students, and some of the students all giant ego's to where they will attempt to injure you. The only gym where I've been injured twice because the coaches enjoy their students "using aggression", coaches should tell their d1 wrestlers who join to not go 100% on people half their size and injure them. Coaches should focus more on keeping students safe than focusing on getting high af for the class.
