Great 6am class. Coach Dakota took his time with each person and made sure I felt like home. Visiting for the week for a potential move and immediately felt like I was home

I drive 45 minutes to come here, and without a doubt I've got to say it's worth it. I feel extremely grateful to be able to train in such a passionate environment with knowledgable coaches and supportive peers. For those on the fence: I've been training here for nearly 6 months, and I've been tapped out more times than I can count. It's tough, it's humbling, but it's how you grow. I'm in much better shape, I feel better, and my confidence is constantly rising. Don't wait, just start, you'll wish you started sooner.
Walking into 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Manny and the entire team are extremely skilled, humble, and welcoming. Surrounding yourself with a group like this is motivating, challenging, rewarding, and will change your perspective on life. Exercise is a blessing, not a curse, Go Train!

Dropped in here while I was visiting from out of town. I'd recommend stopping by. Friendly and welcoming gym. Everyone was super nice. Also very clean. I liked how you had to wash your feet before stepping on the mat. I'd visit again the next time I'm in town.

Came through this gym the other day when visiting town and it did not disappoint! Amazing coaches and instruction. They made us feel really welcome and did not hesitate to walk through movements with us when they saw us struggling. Recommend anyone to try this gym, I will be back for sure!

If you're looking for a place where you can experience the joy of tapping out more times than you can count, 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu is the ultimate destination. I mean if tapping out was an Olympic sport, I'd have a gold medal by now. But you know what? Each tap is a badge of honor, a reminder that I'm out here trying, even if my limbs have other ideas and if you need to experience flailing on the mats, desperately trying to avoid the inevitable submission. This is your gym. Walking into 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu a few months ago, I thought I had some semblance of what I was doing because "muh highschool wrestling". I was wrong. It's like they have a sixth sense for spotting clueless do it yourselfers like me and then proceeding to fold us like origami... but fear not, because getting choked out repeatedly and formed into shapes they didn't teach you about in geometry class has never been more fun! The instructors at 10th Planet are like wizards of the mat, they even cast spells and everything but the names are wayy cooler like electric chair, dead orchard, mission control, vaporizer, gogoplata just to name a few. It's been a humbling experience, to say the least but in a good way that everyone should experience... there's nothing quite like bonding over shared moments of "Wait, how did I end up in this position again?" or "Whose foot is this?" Seriously though if you're looking for a place where you can improve your jiu jitsu skills your athletecism and your ability to laugh at yourself, 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu is the place to be. Whether you're new or experienced the instructors are understanding and know who to push and how to teach and the owners are passionate about the gym and its just really awesome to have here in SC.
I travel a lot for work and I'm always excited to visit local gyms. I've always had an amazing experience at 10th planet gyms and Greenville was no exception! Manny, Sergio, and Melissa were extremely friendly and gave excellent instruction. The classes were well-run and highly-productive. I love how much training they packed into the 60 minutes before sparring. The day pass price was quite reasonable, as well. Definitely check them out if you're a traveler like myself!
10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Greenville was an amazing experience. I was traveling for work, and they welcomed me into their facility like it was home. Being a beginner, I was worried about walking into a room full of high belts as a stranger. They immediately welcomed me, and walked me through every step of the class. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to start or continue their BJJ journey.
Manny and Sergio are both wonderful coaches. They create a competitive and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. Making positive adjustments on a consistent basis, and giving beginners to no-Gi BJJ a good place to start in the fundamentals classes they offer. For experienced students they have a competitive class; this class has constant drilling, live scenarios, and sparring for an hour straight. I have been training since April 2023 and have gotten to know the gym and it regulars pretty well. Would recommend for both ends of the spectrum; Either wanting to become a better competitor or people who’ve never done BJJ and want to give it a try.

Been here over a year now, so thought it was time for a review. If you want extremely technical jiu-jitsu, for either MMA, grappling competitions, or self-defense, this is 100% the gym for you. Great coaches, friendly environment, and extremely clean premises. You won't be disappointed and there are a variety of class times to fit everyone's schedule. We put on our own tournaments, have an active discord, and create a safe environment for both beginners and the experienced alike. Hope to see you guys on the mats!

Stopped in the Greenville sc 10th Planet location from out of town on vacation just trying to get a role in. The Helpful instructors gave me a waiver to fill out real quick and started rolling right away very clean facility and lots of good rolls.
Great place to train and learn! The gym has a great balance of being fun while also getting in some good serious training. Definitely check it out if you are looking for a spot to train. The instructors have great battle tested knowledge and they are very helpful and patient regardless of what level you are at 👍🏼

I’ve been through 10th Planet Greenville twice as a visitor, and it’s always been a good time. The instructor is extremely knowledgeable and the other members are fun, easygoing people that create a positive environment.
New to Greenville and have always wanted to visit and train at a 10th Planet. I have about 6 years of prior MMA experience. Took some time on a Tuesday to pop-in to their Noon class. Manny, the instructor, and other team members were very welcoming and accommodating. I really enjoyed the structure of the class: drilling followed by live situational training with different people. That's a structure which always helps me solidify the technique from class so I can use it during live rolls. Looking forward to making this a regular spot!
This is one of the best Jiu Jitsu schools in Greenville! I also love the fact that unlike BJJ, it's no gi Jiu Jitsu. The dependency of relying on a gi for grips and chokes with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is limiting in real life scenarios unless the person is wearing a jacket. With 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Greenville, I have learned how to be self sufficient regardless of what I am wearing or what a would be attacker may be wearing in a self defense situation. I also love the fact that Manny, the head instructor is not only a black belt in Jiu Jitsu but also a professional MMA fighter that has competed in the worlds biggest MMA promotions. 10th Planet is also a great place for kids martial arts classes. Their kids Jiu Jitsu program teaches not only self defense but also discipline. Great place, amazing instructors and very clean well kept facility. Highly recommended!

I visited 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Greenville when I had some downtime on a personal trip. The instructor, Manny, and all of the guys in class were very welcoming. My BJJ experience is mostly gi-only, but after going without one, I realized how much more I have to learn about the game! I'll be returning here any time I'm in town

I can not speak to the business personally as I have never been, but my experience with 10th planet happened when I saw a group wearing 10th planet JJ apparel and having being interested in learning decided to approach one of the members and discuss my interest. he was super cool! I was ready to sign up the next day, I even felt encouraged enough to share the only wrestling footage I have with him ( I am extremely inexperienced). However, I was quickly humbled by a member in the group as he began saying how bad me and my footage was. Rather than confront his group I decided to hold my tongue and felt pretty embarrassed. The interaction came off a bit thuggish. A shame because I was really interested to start my learning.
