10th Planet HQ is great! 200+ academies worldwide started here with Eddie Bravo and his personal crew of Jiu Jitsu enthusiasts and competitors. I highly recommend joining for the great culture and history as well as the personal development you’ll gain by showing up and training in a world class gym with exceptionally high levels of nogi jiu jitsu instruction.
Absolutely incredible instruction by the best no-gi grapplers worldwide! I grew up in LA but started jiu jitsu after moving out of state, so this is where I train when I'm in town and every chance I get to visit, I learn something new about myself and gain new confidence in my skillset. Grateful for the dedicated coaching and 10p family!
I visited 10p HQ while visiting Los Angeles for vacation. The vibes were good and the coaches were great. Freaks don't sleep. Thank you to Danny and Veronica for teaching me some great new techniques.
Amazing gym. Excellent teachers and training partners. I just finished a month drop in and cannot say enough positive things about the experience!
This is a great place to train. I took classes with 4 of their instructors, and everyone was an expert with a desire to help every student learn. The vibe was positive. The students also try to help each other. A great experience so far.
Love the vibe, the instructor, the Jiu-Jitsu the BEST!
This is one of my favorite places in the world. I try to come train here as often as possible and have been for over a dozen years. I’ve never been disappointed and always want more. There’s nothing else like it
We came as strangers and were welcomed like we have been full members for eternity. Amazing people and incredible training. We had the honour to have private training with Jen. She has a huge knowledge about Jiu Jitsu and is so passionate. I recommend every martial arts enthusiast or even absolute beginner to have a private session with her. We learned so much in such a little time. Thank you Jen and 10th Planet BJJ!

Is one of the best places for Jj
I had heard abt Eddie and his crazy ideas and that rly drew me to join 10pHQ. This is like family, everyone is super nice and willing to help you if you’re struggling. Coach Abdul and Danny are amazing teaching and helping you understand the class. They motivate you as well. Overall, I’m really grateful to have become part of the 10pHQ family. 10pHQ4L
The entire 10th Planet Family is a blessing to roll with. Especially in this location, where Master Bravo himself and many other great mentors and professionals frequent to train. The short time I was able to spend in this location was easily the greatest Jiu Jitsu experience of my life. It's a great style for MMA and the knowledge is vast. I will forever be grateful to have been blessed by the teachings of the 10th Planet Family. This location in particular; was the greatest place I have ever rolled at. I learned so much in such a short time. If you're in the area, it's really worth any price. Life changing. Thank you guys! 🙏🏾💪🏾✌🏾
Great place to train no matter if you’re a beginner or experienced practitioner. All the coaches are very welcoming and show a wide range of techniques for competition or self defense. Plus they have classes available to fit any schedule all day every day, all week long. If you’re in the area or visiting stop in and give it a try, you’ll be happy you did.
One of the best schools in the world for nogi. All instructors/ coaches here are friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend for new and advanced practitioners.
Awesome bjj studio. I was very impressed with the instruction here. Top notch!
I love 10th planet HQ! HQ is the best. Eddie Bravo is always there, and his lectures are captivating! And you never know when special guests from all over the world drop in! And Patrick Donabedian- former University of Miami baseball player- is the professor at the 6:30am class. His classes are a good reason to be up at 5am. Donabedian's classes are structured, easily learn 3 different aspects of grappling in a class, and roll/spar after. 10th planet HQ is the best for people looking for a different vibe than from a traditional gi jit jitsu school.
I've checked out their school a few times and finally got the courage to go to a few classes. They are really welcoming and great teachers.
Best place to learn jujitsu! Advanced fighting techniques! Friendly atmosphere! And of course, charismatic Eddie Bravo!!! Thanks for everything 🙏
Vygotsky: "genius is seeing what eveybody else sees, but thinking what nobody else thinks" Eddie you're a genius.
Eddie Bravo has become an influential icon in the world of Jiu Jitsu. It's an honor to rep 10P and I'll be back to HQ as much as possible!
10th planet Jiu Jitsu is located on Pico Blvd and Grand Blvd. The cost to attend is $160.00 for unlimited classes. I watched a class and OMG the instructors are super nice and wow knowledgeable! Parking is kind of hectic, but the street behind 10fh Planet has good parking. Great experience and awesome people there! Thanks Eddie!

I just did a drop in while in town for work. Everyone was gracious and professional. They have a lot to teach that you may not get from traditional BJJ studios. Loved the facility even though it was a little hot (I sweat like a champ). Would definitely recommend if you’re in the DTLA area. Sign up online and bring your gear.
I dropped in for a morning class at 6:30 AM and was very impressed. The class was fun and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You would never realize the place is there just passing by. They have one neon sign in the window of an all-black building saying "10th Planet Jiu Jitsu". If you see it you're in the right place. As someone not very well-versed in leg-locks, I was a little worried at first, but everyone I trained with was very careful while rolling. Nobody cranked any submissions and when I got caught in a heel hook (you will) they showed me how to properly defend and went very slowly. Everyone I trained with was very skilled. I've been training for around 1.5 years and was thoroughly out-wrestled by everyone there. I don't think I was ever even able to establish any form of open or closed guard since their passing was so good. Not only that, whenever I went to pass I had to be very careful not to immediately be leg-locked which happened anyway. Out of curiosity I asked about the pricing and class availability and was surprised to hear how affordable it was. I believe they have multiple classes every day and there's no limit to how much you can train (aside from maybe not being able to do the advanced class till you're experienced enough). I haven't tried out everywhere in LA, but if you're serious about learning Jiu Jitsu this is probably the place to be.
They handed out free boiled eggs to every visitor. Very thoughtful.
I was extremely impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and students. I spent 12 hours in LA, 5 of them at 10th Planet HQ. Everyone was very respectful and their technique is strong. If you’re in LA, you have to check them out.
The best jiujitsu in the world, everybody is so kind and a great vibe
Never been heel hooked so much in a single round before, or since. Most taps I've ever received in a day let alone a round. :) great.
Yo I think that Pete Mitchell guy is pr baby from another gym tryna hate so you’ll go to his gym lol what a little punk. Anyway 10pjj is top notch great training and especially awesome if you’re a chick because there are TONS of chicks who go here. I train gi and no gi so I have my home gym but I take privates here w my bf who does train here officially and I’ve learned amazing techniques that have upped my game immensely. Good luck and learn BJJ. It’s saved me from being assaulted on three occasions and I don’t doubt that it will save me again in the future.
Jiujitsu mecca. Im so honored to have been able to roll on the slick mats. #10P4L
Muchas clases en diferentes horarios, algunas desde las 6:30am hasta la última a las 20:30. Buen precio comparado con otros gimnasios conocidos mundialmente. Many classes at different times, some from 6:30 am to the last at 8:30 pm. Good price compared to other gyms known worldwide.
Rorion and Royce Gracie changed the world in the early 90's with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Eddie Bravo changed the world ten years later with his 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu no gi system. If you want to learn the art of kicking butt, this is the place for you to be. As the previous poster posted, there are many professional MMA fighters that have trained and still are training under Eddie Bravo and his 10th Planet system. Tony Ferguson, Ben Saunders, Alan Jouban, and Ronda Rousey all train here. If you really want to learn how get into shape, defend yourself, then this is the place to go to . I'm getting my daughter into class next. There is nothing better then Jiu-Jitsu for girls. So what are you waiting for?
Even though I don't know anything about BJJ my dream is to go there and train with Eddie. Hands down the best BJJ school in the world
If your interested in Jiu-Jitsu that will work without the traditional uniform and also still function in MMA, this is one of if not the best gym in the world for you to train. I travel all the way from Texas every year to train here with Eddie Bravo at the head quarters of 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu!!!!
The place is cool, some of the coaches are very nice but in general seemed to be a great place for jujitsu
I’ve trained at 10th Planet expecting professionalism, but there’s a problem that needs to be addressed before it tarnishes the name. There’s a purple belt at my gym, not a coach, yet he takes over classes and forces members to follow his rules. One of these so-called rules is making everyone wash their hands, claiming it’s mandatory. Let me remind you—under California law, there’s no obligation for members to wash their hands, and we have the right to refuse. This guy’s behavior is unprofessional and disruptive. It’s clear 10th Planet wasn’t built on this kind of nonsense. Eddie Bravo needs to step in, issue a clear warning, and post mandatory behavior guidelines on the walls to prevent this from happening again. If not, this kind of rogue behavior will drive members away and push 10th Planet into bankruptcy. So there’s this purple belt at 10th Planet, not even a coach, but he somehow takes over classes and thinks he runs the place. He forces everyone to wash their hands, claiming it’s mandatory. Fun fact: under California law, we’re not obligated to wash our hands if we don’t want to, so his little power trip is unnecessary. Honestly, if this keeps up and no one steps in to fix it, 10th Planet might end up losing members fast. Maybe slap a warning on the wall next time? And hey, if you’re planning to join 10th Planet, just remember—better wash those hands, or else.
We arrived from Europe in LA and we tried to visit the gym today, 21.09.2015. Our first stop in LA was here, as we said to the guy from the entrance, but we've been refused because they had a "private session", this after telling us that would be ok to accept us inside the gym. We came here from Vegas, where we went at Floyd Mayweather's Gym and from Joe Hand Boxig Gym in Philadelphia, where all things were like paradise. Bad bad job Eddie Bravo, very bad job for your guys. We're disappointed.
