This place has been my home away from home for nearly 13 years now, and even though I have moved states, when I go back, its home again. The head instructor, John Botello is a black belt under a legend in the sport and the first affiliate of Eddie Bravo. You are not going to find better no gi instruction in the valley. The gym is clean, the atmosphere is friendly and the competition is tough. Go train!

My boyfriend and I stopped to train here while traveling from NM. It was an Amazing class taught by John Botelo. John is a 3rd degree black belt under Eddie Bravo and is a wealth of knowledge…. He’s great at articulating how to approach every single detail in a move. Highly recommend training here either while traveling or permanently. Your understanding of technique in BJJ will drastically improve.

Coach John is an amazing coach. He really makes sure to take the time for you to understand the secret sauce and fundamentals. Everyone here is also very friendly and laid back which is a plus especially if you’re new to jiu jitsu or martial arts in general. Come by try a class and get a roll in (or don’t if you just want to watch :) )
