We were traveling and my 9 year old wanted to check out another 10th planet. I reached out to Zack and he was not only prompt to return my email but very welcoming to us stopping in for him to get rolls in. The gym was super clean and Zack was amazing with the kids. Super clean and super welcoming. I can't recommend the 10th planet family enough and this gym is top notch. My son has already said if we ever travel back to Columbus, he wants to make sure we stop in again.

Absolutely amazing experience from the very start of my first class. My first day of class I was approached By multiple students That introduced themselves to me and made me feel at home, Everyone I’ve met at this 10th planet is eager For you to grow and learn While doing it safely And learning the right way The first time. Coach Zack is incredible at teaching you in depth while making sure you’re learning and staying safe while progressing. I started out doing No-Gi jujitsu and this 10th planet and now I also do wrestling and striking classes. It’s not just a physical way to challenge yourself it’s also a great way to get a mental relief at the end of the day or to get a fresh start to you’re day at the morning classes. For me personally it’s therapeutic and I’m eager to learn and progress with Coach Zack at 10th planet jujitsu in Columbus.

I had the privilege of training with Coach Zack during his time in California, and I can't recommend his instruction highly enough. As a jiu-jitsu instructor, he brings an exceptional level of detail to every technique, demonstrating patience as he breaks down complex movements into digestible (and effective!) components. What truly sets Coach Zack apart is how his teaching methodology is deeply informed by his formal education and experience as an educator. His technical instruction consistently produces results on the mat — but it's his character that makes training under him truly special. Coach Zack genuinely cares about each student's development, creating a welcome and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Having experienced his coaching firsthand, I can confidently say his new gym offers an outstanding opportunity for anyone looking to advance their jiu-jitsu journey under the guidance of not just a skilled practitioner, but an exceptional human being.

Been training at 10th Planet Columbus for a few months now, and it has been the single greatest decision I made in my adult life. Zack is a world class grappler, and on top of that an amazing teacher as well. Being able to relay the information needed to your skill level, breaking it down so you understand it and can execute it in training or live rolls. I walked in a hobbyist, and Zack was able to walk me through my first competition. And on top of getting world class training, everyone on the team is friendly and trains safe. I train 4 times a week, and have never been injured, and everyone there regardless of skill level is there to help you out. Not to mention how clean the gym is! If you’re interested in learning jiujitsu judgement free regardless of skill level, this is the place for you.

Coach Zack was with me from the start of my jiu jitsu journey at 10th planet Redlands. He is a great mentor and instructor, with extensive knowledge in wrestling, jiu jitsu, judo, and military combative experience, he is a great fit to be anyone’s coach. Whether you are new to the sport of jiu jitsu, or you are a seasoned practitioner, Zack and the 10th planet Columbus team make an amazing atmosphere and training platform to help you further your own knowledge of the sport!
