Westlake Village's BJJ calendar is led by Grappling X, which runs the West Coast Jiu Jitsu Championships in the city several times a year. The Union has also held events in the area, including Simi Showdown in nearby Simi Valley.
Around a third of events offer Gi, No-Gi and absolute divisions, and some include kids brackets. November is the busiest month, followed by August and March.
