BJJ competition in West Virginia is limited to a small number of events each year. The WVGO Official Gi and No-Gi State Championship is the main recurring tournament, and Spectrum Jiu Jitsu runs a summer scrimmage.
Other events have included Flow State Martinsburg and a NEWBREED West Virginia Championship. Gi divisions are slightly more common than No-Gi, and few events run kids divisions. August is the main month for competition.
