Thousand Oaks hosts a regular mix of BJJ tournaments, led by the Super Cup, which has returned to the city several times. The World Grappling Championships and the AGF Thousand Oaks Championships also run here, and King of Subs has held its Ventura Open in nearby Camarillo.
Events commonly include kids divisions, and some offer Gi, No-Gi and absolute brackets. August and January are the busiest months, followed by November.
