Sioux Falls has a small but regular BJJ competition calendar, with events held in the city itself. Submission Challenge has brought its grappling events to Sioux Falls in August, and the Midwest Grappling League has run both Gi and No-Gi events here.
Just over half of events include Gi divisions and around a third offer No-Gi. Around one in five events has an absolute division, while kids divisions are less common. June is the busiest month, followed by April and July, with a few events later in the summer and in winter.
