Redding has a small BJJ tournament calendar in Northern California, with events also held in nearby Red Bluff. United Grappling runs Redding events in June and December, One Mind Jiu-Jitsu has held in-house tournaments, and SuperHero Kids has run a Redding event in October.
Most events offer Gi divisions and more than half include No-Gi. Kids divisions are common, appearing at most events, and some events include an absolute division. December, October and June are the busiest months, with occasional events in August.
