Pensacola has a regular BJJ calendar led by NEWBREED Ultimate Challenge, which runs the NEWBREED Pensacola Summer, Fall and Winter Championships and the NEWBREED Pensacola New Year Open. NAGA Pensacola Grappling Championship also returns to the city, and DR BJJ has hosted kids and adult tournaments.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are each offered at around two in three events, and over half include an absolute division. Kids divisions are listed at only a small share of events. June and January are the busiest months, followed by September and February.
