Orlando is one of the busiest BJJ tournament cities in Florida and a regular host for large national events. NEWBREED Ultimate Challenge runs the NEWBREED Orlando Samurai Series and the NEWBREED World Jiu Jitsu Championship, and NAGA Orlando and the AGF Orlando Open return regularly.
PBJJF holds its Orlando Winter and Fall International Opens here, and the city has hosted the ADCC US Open and ADCC East Coast Trials. United Grappling also runs events in Orlando.
Gi and No-Gi divisions are offered in equal measure, and around a quarter of events include an absolute division. Kids divisions are listed at a smaller share of events. November is by far the busiest month, followed by August and December, with further events in October and April.
