Fargo hosts nearly all of North Dakota's BJJ tournaments, with Minot holding an occasional event. Submission Challenge is the main organizer, running Fargo events each spring and fall.
Most events offer both Gi and No-Gi divisions, and around one in three includes kids divisions. Events use EBI-style overtime and double-elimination brackets. September and April are the main months for competition, and fees vary by event.
