Lincoln is a regular BJJ competition stop in Nebraska. The Nebraska Jiu-Jitsu Championship runs Fall, Summer and Spring Opens in the city, along with its Elite Series events, and Submission Challenge has also held tournaments in Lincoln.
Around two thirds of events offer Gi and No-Gi divisions, and over half include an absolute division. Kids divisions appear at around one in six events. November is the busiest month, followed by May and August.
