Fullerton is one of the regular BJJ tournament locations in Orange County, with events also held in nearby Westminster, Norwalk and Anaheim.
Dream Jiu Jitsu runs a recurring Dream BJJ Kids Gi series through the year, and the World Series of Jiu-Jitsu holds its So-Cal Championship and Orange County No-Gi purple belt events in the area. NABJJF and Cleber Jiu-Jitsu also organize tournaments here, and the All Americas Jiu Jitsu Tournament appears on the calendar.
Most events offer Gi divisions, and around half offer No-Gi. More than half include kids divisions, making Fullerton a good option for younger competitors. Double elimination brackets are common. Entry usually costs around $28–$87. March is the busiest month, followed by October, June, July and February.
