Bossier City is a regular stop for the American Grappling Federation, which runs the AGF Bossier Open and AGF Bossier Championships. NCGA has also held events here, including the NCGA National Championship. Some events for the area take place in nearby Shreveport.
Around half of events offer Gi and No-Gi divisions, and a similar share include kids divisions. March, August and November are the busiest months, followed by February.
