The UFC BJJ Opens nationwide tour is stopping in Phoenix this September!
1) Saturday 9/12
2) Phoenix Convention Center: 100 North 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004
3) Cost: Early Bird $150, Regular $175, 2nd division $75
4) Relevant Dates
a. Early Bird registration ends: 8/12
b. Registration closes: 9/8
c. Schedule release: 9/9
d. Bracket release: 9/10
5) Format
a. Youth-
Multiple matches. Medals for 1, 2, 3 place.
b. Adult-
i. White, Blue, and Purple belts- Multiple matches. Medals for 1, 2, 3, place
ii. Brown and Black belts- Single elimination. Medals for 1, 2, 3 place. Cash prizes for top brown and black belt finishers
6) Day of:
a. Doors open at 8:00am, first match begins at 9:00am.
b. Match flow:
i. Youth no Gi --> Youth Gi --> Adult No Gi --> Adult Gi --> Absolute No Gi
ii. Youth divisions will run before adult starts
7) Weigh in's- All weigh-in's:
a. 1 hour before your match on Saturday. Doors Saturday will open at 8:00am, with the first match at 9:00am
8) All ages are birth year
9) All participants get commemorative tee shirt
10) UFC BJJ athlete meet and greets during event weekend
