Description
Medals will be awarded for First, Second and Third in all divisions.
Kids Divisions
There will be two separate round robin competitions, which will be further split into weight classes, for kids to compete in. Girls and boys will compete together until the age of 12 when boys and girls will be seperated.
1. Submissions (Gi and No-Gi): Round Robin, 3 minute matches, Graplling Industries Rules and weights, Mixed Belts (coloured belts will be seeded so they are not all in the same bracket).
2. No Submissions (Gi only), Pin to Win: Round Robin, 3 minute matches, Grappling Industries Rules (other than subs) and weights, Mixed Belts (coloured belts will be seeded so they are not all in the same bracket). Were a competitor to hold a combination of the mount, back-mount or back-control positions for a period of 20 seconds they would be awarded the match. If the other competitor were to escape the position, the timer would be reset to zero and the match would continue. Also if one athlete achieves a 10 or more point lead on the other athlete it will count as a win via points.

They will be further divided by weight class.

REGISTRATION
Early Bird, Normal and Late Fees Apply
Refer to the timing in the top right of when early bird, normal and late registrations close.
Merge or Refund: You may be moved up in weight to make a division, if this is not possible you will be given a full refund.
SPECTATORS
This event is held inside our gym and thus space is very limited.
1 x Free spectator per registration, ADDITIONAL SPECTATORS WILL BE $5 PER PERSON.

The Last Spartan Prize Div
Format:
28 entrants are split into 4 even brackets of 7. Each bracket compete in a dynamic “winner stays in” format. Last man standing wins his bracket.
Bracket champions will then face off in the semi and grand final to crown the overall winner “The Last Spartan”
Match Rules:
3 minute matches decided by submission or referee decision. Stalling penalties apply. referee decision is based on aggression and trying to get a finish.
Grappling industries legal subs based on the lower belt of the two competitors apply.
Entrance order:
Each competitor will be assigned a score using the following calculation method.
(Weight + belt - age)
Competitor entrance will be sequenced in descending order of assigned scores.
Unique Dynamics:
Lower-ranked competitors have a fighting chance as higher-ranked athletes fatigue, creating an exciting and unpredictable event.
Breaks:
60 second intervals between matches for walkouts with entrance music and competitor recovery. 20 seconds awarded for each additional match won
For every subsequent match won, an additional 20 seconds rest is awarded

YES the same person can win multiple prizes, which will be decided by referees and officals.
Minimum number of competitors: 16 (if the minimum is not met everyone will get a full refund)
