Competition Schedule
Day 1 Saturday 13th June 2026
7:00am - Doors Open
7:30am - Coaches meeting
7:40am - Marshalling starts
8:00am - Black Belt KPNP Sparring begins
12:00pm - Lunch Break
1:00pm - Black belt sparring continues
5:00pm - Competition concludes
Day 2 Sunday 14th June 2026
7:00am -Doors Open
7:30am - Sparring coaches meeting (including poomsae & technical coaches meeting)
7:30am - Marshalling starts
8:00am - Coloured belt Sparring, Black belt Poomsae and Coloured belt Poomsae begins
8:00am - Coloured belt poomsae commences
12:00pm - lunch break - Creative Poomsae event starts and Weapons Demonstrations
1:00pm - Coloured belt Sparring, Black belt Poomsae and Coloured belt Poomsae continues
5:00pm - Competition concludes
Rules
* New Current WT rules apply to all Black Belts 12 years+
* Weigh in - Minimum acceptable dress code for weigh in will be shirt + shorts with a 0.5kg allowance.
* Athletes have 2 weigh-in attempts within the same weigh-in session.
* If a player is unable to make weight they will be disqualified or can opt to move up a division with a penalty fee of $50 per athlete, per request.
Liability
Sydney Taekwondo Festival will not be held responsible for any injury, damage or loss to individuals or personal equipment.
Coach registration
All coaches will require to register for this event via email Prestons@masaustralia.com To avoid athletes disqualification due to lack of coaches please provide sufficient coaches per club. Players not in attendance with their coach after 3 calls will be disqualified
Referee Registration
All referees will be required to register for this event via email Prestons@masaustralia.com
Spectator fee
There will be a spectator fee upon entry for adults
$15 2 day pass (can attend both days)
Parking
The venue has a lot of FREE parking available
Refunds
A refund may be requested by sending an email to prestons@masaustralia.com
Please note refunds may only be requested up until 1 week before the competition date starts. Any requests within the 7 days leading into competition will be denied unless competitor is uncontested.
