We would like to welcome you to the Swedish Junior Open in Gävle, Sweden, on September 26, 2026. This event offers children and youth the opportunity to gain competition experience and build friendships with like-minded individuals.

The event is open to participants aged 7–17 and welcomes all Kyokushin organizations.

Mandatory Protection for Participants Aged 7–11:

Participants must wear fist protection, mouthguard, headguard, groin guard, shin guards, and a body protector. Breast cups are not allowed under the body protector.

Mandatory Protection for Participants Aged 12–17:

Participants must wear fist protection, mouthguard, headguard, groin guard, and shin guards. Female participants are required to wear breast cups.

* Swedish Junior Open Tournament Regulations

Swedish competitors aged 12 and older must hold a valid competition license from the Swedish Karate Association or the Swedish Budo & Martial Arts Federation.
