Summit Combat Challenge
The Summit Combat Challenge will feature:
- Kick Light
- Point Fighting
- Hard Traditional and Open Forms
- Soft Traditional and Open Forms
This tournament focuses on encouraging healthy cross-border competition, promoting skill development, and fostering sportsmanship in a welcoming and competitive environment.
Registration Fees
Registration (until May 3, 2025):
- First Division: $55 USD
- Subsequent Divisions: $15 USD
- Spectator passes can be purchased for $10 at the door

Registration Cut-off
- Registration will close May 3, 2025, at midnight.
Day of Check-in
- Check-in starts May 9 at 8:00 AM
- Competitors must have their dedicated QR code (available in your profile) ready for check-in.
Weigh-In
- Competitors in weight-specific divisions must weigh in prior to check-in.
- Failure to meet the required weight may result in disqualification. Verify your weight before the registration cut-off.
Double Elimination
- All fighting divisions will follow a double-elimination format.
Choosing a Division
- Competitors must register with their appropriate age, weight, gender, style, and rank.
- If unsure about the appropriate division, consult your instructor.
- Divisions will be finalized and posted one week before the tournament. Every effort will be made to keep weight categories within a 5kg range for all fighting divisions. However, if a competitor does not fit within the weight window, we may move them up to the next age or skill category (unless it involves moving from age 17 to 18). Alternatively, we may adjust the weight category by up to 2kg either way.
- Once divisions are set weight categories will remain fixed.
- This policy is in place to prioritize competitor safety and prevent unhealthy weight-cutting or dehydration before the event. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a safe and sportsmanlike competition environment.
- Divisions may be adjusted by the director to ensure fairness and safety, with competitors notified of any changes.
Kick Light Continuous Divisions
- Novice: Less than 1 year of training
- Intermediate: 1–3 years of training
- Advanced: More than 3 years of training
Note: Previous professional fighters are not eligible for this event.
Soft Style Forms Divisions
- Novice: Less than 1 year of training
- Intermediate: 1–3 years of training
- Advanced: Over 3 years of training
- Black Belt: Instructor level
Hard Style Forms and Point Fighting Divisions
- Competitors must wear the appropriate belt color for their division and compete at the same rank across all divisions.
Age Criteria
- Competitors will compete at their age on the day of the event.
Parent’s Pass
- Parents of registered children (12 and under) receive one free spectator pass, available at the door.
