2025 SAJJC - SOUTH AUSTRALIAN STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2025 SAJJC (SOUTH AUSTRALIAN State Championship) 5 STAR National Ranking Points - 45 Gold, 15 Silver, 5 Bronze.
Opportunities to become a 2025 SAJJC (SOUTH AUTRALIAN State Champion) are:
Junior Male Gi, Junior Female Gi, Male Juvenile Gi, Female Juvenile Gi, Male Gi, Female Gi.
Junior Male NoGi, Junior Female NoGi, Male Juvenile NoGi, Female Juvenile NoGi, NoGi, Male NoGi, Female NoGi
Early bird entries close on the 10th of August- Normal Entries close 24th of September - Late and final entries (at a slightly higher fee) close at Midnight on the 1st of October.
Last chance to change yourself out of a single fighter category to a different age or different weight is the 2nd of October.
Anyone in a single fighter category after midnight on the 3rd of October will collect the gold medal without a fight.
This 5 STAR event earns competitors National Ranking Points - 45 Gold, 15 Silver and 5 Bronze.

REFUND POLICY:
A full 100% refund is available before registrations close on the 1st of October.
No Refunds are available after the 1st of October. This applies also to competitors who have opponents withdraw on the day leaving them in a single fighter category.
Anyone Adult or master in a single fighter category after midnight on the 3rd of October will collect the gold medal without a fight.
Juniors and Juveniles in a single fighter category after the 1st of October will be moved at the organisers discretion up in weight and or up in age to a populated category. If limited options are available and a move of more than one weight and or age is required to find a populated category the organisers will contact the listed telephone number to discuss options. If no options are suitable a full refund will be made. (in this case the fighter shall be removed from the competition with no medal being awarded).

CONSOLATION FIGHT MAT - JUNIOR + JUVENILE
An extra mat will be available at the event for all first round losers and those who did not have a fight. Those concerned must go to the mat coordinator for this mat and register their interest to participate. Note: Considering the National and International rules, the results from this mat will not form part of the event results or rankings. Participants can only be those with an original registration in the SAJJC25. Possible match ups need to be approved by a parent or guardian. (This Consolation Fight option is only available to persons who remain in the competition not for those who receive a full refund and exit the competition and is for Juniors and Juveniles only!)
This 5 STAR event earns competitors National Ranking Points - 54 Gold, 18 Silver and 6 Bronze.

Weight Selection
Weights in the drop down box are represented as net with the appropriate Gi or No Gi allowance already included in division e.g. the 82.3kg division already includes the 3.3kg allowance of the 79kg division. Competitors must be under the weight division when they step onto the official scales or they will be disqualified immediately.

Weigh In Competitors should present themselves at the weigh in and uniform inspection station no less than 30min before their scheduled match. Also important to note the schedule is dynamic and changes throughout the day, please check your times regularly to ensure that you do not miss your weigh in and become disqualified. Once competitors are weighed in they are required to stay inside the competition area and are responsible to ensuring they are able to hear their name called to compete. Leaving the mat area they are scheduled to compete on, wearing ear phones, similar devices, or not responding when called to compete will result in immediate disqualification.

Juniors transitioning to Juvenile & Adult Belt RanksThe SAJJC recognises that Black Belts & Head Instructors, will know which is the correct rank to graduate a Junior to in the year they turn 16. No Juveniles or Adults may wear Junior coloured belts (Grey, Yellow, Orange or Green) - Instead they must wear either White, Blue or Purple Belts at their instructors discretion!- Juniors that were previously ranked as Green Belt cannot compete in Juvenile White Belt Divisions.

Academy/Team Name:
Competitors are responsible to ensure they have registered under the correct academy/team name. Once registration is completed this cannot be altered.

Team Points:
Competitors in single fighter divisions will not be allocated team points. Athletes from the same team in single bracket by themselves will not be allocated team points.

Team Ranking:
Teams will be ranked in the following order. First Consideration - Team points will be allocated based on Gold, Silver & Bronze placings. The Team with the most points overall will win the first place, Followed by the team with second highest overall points in second and the team with third highest points in third. Second consideration - In the event a team is tied on points, ranking between the tied teams will be determined by the better ranking going to the team with the most gold medals. If it is still tied then the team with the most silver medals will receive the better ranking. Then if it is still tied then the team with the most bronze medals will receive the better ranking. If it is still tied then the team with the most wins will receive the better ranking.

SPECTATOR TICKET
The 2025 spectators fees are as follows All spectators under 12 years (with identification) Free One parent or coach can enter free for every junior competitor that is 12 years old or younger.
All other spectators $18. Registered AFBJJ/IBJJF black belts (proof ID must be shown at entrance) can enter free - no other coaches can enter free.
