Date: Saturday September 20th, 2025.
Time: Tournament will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Weigh-ins: Candidate will declare weight during registration. No physical weigh-ins.
Check-in/Doors open: 8:00 a.m.
Referee and Coach meeting: 8:30 - 9:15 a.m.
Location: Broadway Recreation Center. Mesa, AZ (parking is limited, highly recommend ride-share)
Registration: Online registration only, NO walk in registration.
Registration deadline: Sunday September 14th 2025, 11:59 p.m.
Late registration: Monday September 15th through Thursday September 18th 11:59 p.m.
Eligibility: Current members of USA Judo ONLY. All contestants must provide valid proof of current membership.
Awards: First, Second and Third Place
Medals: Top three contestants in each division. First, Second and Third winners will also receive 5, 3, and 1 point, respectively, toward their team score.
Elimination: Divisions with fewer than 5 - True Round Robin. Divisions with more than 5 - Double elimination loser bracket to final round.
USA Judo Sanction Number:
Dress Code: Appropriate undergarments must be worn by all athletes. Female athletes shall wear under the jacket either a plain white or off-white t-shirt, with short sleeves, long enough to be worn inside the trousers, or a plain white or off-white leotard with short sleeves. The white T-shirt should have a round neck. No marking can be visible when the judo gi is done up. Rash guards or t-shirts are allowed to be worn under the judo gi for all genders, during USA Judo sanctioned domestic events.Athlete needing to change clothes/judogi should do so in a restroom, locker room or other area specifically designated for changing.

PLEASE NOTE: Weights shown on Smoothcomp are merely preliminary parameters. Final pooling and bracketing will take registered judokas into consideration in order to maintain competitive balance.
