Selangor Ju-Jitsu Association proudly presents the Selangor Ju-Jitsu Open 2026.

The Selangor Ju-Jitsu Open 2026 will take place on 4 October 2026 at Central i-City Mall, Shah Alam, bringing together Ju-Jitsu athletes, clubs, teams, and state representatives for two days of competitive action.

This championship is organised as part of the continued development of Ju-Jitsu in Selangor and Malaysia. It provides athletes with an important competitive platform to gain experience, test their skills, monitor their development, and prepare for higher-level national and international competitions.

Athletes from different age groups and experience levels are encouraged to participate and represent their respective clubs, academies, and associations.

COMPETITION DISCIPLINES

1. Ne-Waza System

A technical ground-fighting discipline focused on takedowns, positional control, transitions, escapes, and submissions.

Athletes will be required to demonstrate technical ability, strategy, control, and effective groundwork throughout their matches.

2. Fighting System

A dynamic Ju-Jitsu discipline combining three phases of combat:

Part 1 – Striking, Controlled punches and kicks.

Part 2 – Throws and Takedowns, Throws, takedowns, and standing control.

Part 3 – Ground Fighting, Pins, positional control, and submissions.

Athletes must demonstrate versatility and tactical ability across all three phases.

PURPOSE OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Selangor Ju-Jitsu Open 2026 aims to:

  • Provide athletes with a high-quality competitive platform.
  • Develop competition experience among youth and adult athletes.
  • Identify and develop emerging Ju-Jitsu talent.
  • Improve athlete performance through structured competition.
  • Prepare athletes for state, national, and international-level championships.
  • Strengthen cooperation between Ju-Jitsu clubs, academies, and associations.
  • Support the continued growth of Ju-Jitsu throughout Selangor and Malaysia.

WEIGH-IN INFORMATION

Venue: Central I-CITY MALL SHAM ALAM

Time: 6-8 pm

Weigh-in will only be available on Saturday. Please arrive on time before the weigh-in closes.

All competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are registered in the correct weight category.

Competitors who fail to meet the requirements of their registered division may be subject to the competition regulations.

Early Bird Registration: RM 80
Normal Registration: RM 100
Late Registration: RM 120
