5x5 TEAM COMPETITION – FRIDAY (AUGUST 1st)
This event features a unique 5 vs. 5 team formats. Each team will consist of 5 competitors, and the matchups will be determined player-to-player (Player 1 vs. Player 1, Player 2 vs. Player 2, and so on up to Player 5). Coaches must submit the team lineup before each round.
Divisions Available:
MEN’S BLUE BELT TEAMS:
• 5 athletes under 156 lbs
• 5 athletes under 196 lbs
• 5 athletes over 196 lbs
MEN’S PURPLE BELT TEAMS:
• 5 athletes under 156 lbs
• 5 athletes under 196 lbs
• 5 athletes over 196 lbs
WOMEN’S BLUE BELT TEAMS:
• 5 athletes under 140 lbs
• 5 athletes over 140 lbs
WOMEN’S PURPLE BELT TEAMS:
• 5 athletes under 140 lbs
• 5 athletes over 140 lbs
Match Format:
• 5 players per team
• Each player from Team A competes against the corresponding player from Team B (e.g., Player 1 vs. Player 1, Player 2 vs. Player 2, etc.)
• Coaches are responsible for submitting the lineup before each round begins

*An athlete proven to be a black belt in judo, have experience in freestyle or Greco-Roman wrestling or to have fought MMA as a professional or amateur, shall not be allowed to enter any tournament as a white belt. In the USA, to have competed at a college level or higher. In other countries, to have competed in events of national scope.
