COST:
• Registration Fee: $50.00 per competitor
Absolute Division will be an additional $10 if you wish to participate.
• Registration closes 11.07.25 at 11:00 PM
• Brackets will be released on Saturday, 11.08.25.
All competitors are guaranteed two matches. No registrations will be accepted at the door on the day of the event.
SCORING FORMAT: International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF)
TIMING FORMAT: We will implement five (5) minute match times following the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) timing format for all matches, regardless of the number of competitors.
DOUBLE ELIMINATION FORMAT:
The basic concept of double elimination is similar to single elimination, in which there are rounds, and the winners advance further in the brackets. If a competitor loses a match, the competitor will move into the repechage bracket for an opportunity to compete for third place. By following this format, the competitor who wins all fights receives the gold medal, the competitor who loses in the final receives the silver, and the winner of the repechage bracket receives the bronze medal. A competitor with two consecutive losses is eliminated.
THIS TOURNAMENT IS PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY. There will be no onsite registration.
REFUNDS: No refunds will be granted at any time for any reason.
LEVELS: Only White Belt and Blue Belt levels will be permitted to participate.
WEIGHT CLASSES:
• Rooster weight: -130 LBS
• Featherweight: 131 to 145 LBS
• Lightweight: 146 to 160 LBS
• Middleweight: 161 to 175 LBS
• Medium-Heavyweight: 176 to 190 LBS
• Heavyweight: 191 to 215 LBS
• Super Heavyweight: +216 LBS
• Absolute: Open weight class
All registered competitors must weigh in before their first match. Competitors who fail to make weight will be disqualified, so please register in the appropriate weight class. For fairness to those who make weight and to keep the event on schedule, brackets will not be adjusted once they are published.
COMPETITOR LIMIT:
Divisions must contain at a minimum of two competitors. In the case that a division has a single competitor, we reserve the right to combine divisions and classes as needed.
AWARDS:
Custom medals will be awarded to competitors who place first, second, and third.
All first-place winners will be awarded a BRAUS FIGHT WEAR RASHGUARD.
All participants will be awarded a participation medal.
The absolute weight winner wins $100 cash prize plus the Absolute trophy.
SPECTATORS:
Cost: $5.00 per spectators
There will be limited seating for spectators due to space limitations, so it will be first-come, first-served.
No outside food or drinks will be allowed. Only closed beverages (i.e., water, energy drinks, etc.) will be allowed for competitors.
