Riverfront Kids & Teens No Gi Open: Sunday June 28th, 2026

DOORS OPEN @ 11:30AM | EVENT STARTS @ 12:30PM
FORMAT and RULES: Riverfront Kids & Teens Open is a No Gi Jiu Jitsu tournament that follows a Double Elimination format. Matches are sub only. If there is no submission at the end of the round, it moves to judges' decision for which player attacked the most submissions or had the dominant position longer.
MATCH TIMES:
Age 4-7: 3 minute matches.
Age 8-15: 4 minute matches
Age 16-17: 5 minute matches
THIS TOURNAMENT IS PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!
We do not take late registrations or registrations at the event
Early Registration – (Register before June 14th at 11:59pm )$50
Normal Registration – (Register before June 26th at 11:59pm) $65
Spectators - $10 for adults, $5 for kids at the door (Venmo or exact cash)
WEIGH INS
Video weigh in the day before (Saturday May 16th) and send to @riverfrontbjj on instagram anytime after 8am. You can also weigh in the morning of your matches. There is a 1 pound allowance.
DIVISION MERGERS: After the change deadline, competitors who do not have anyone in their division group may be merged with another division. Elyse will reach out to see if you want to join another bracket. If you do not wish to merge with another bracket, you will get a credit for our next event. No shows will not receive a credit.
REFUND POLICY: Only full coupon credits will be issued for future events. Credits can be obtained by logging into your account and canceling your event registration. Competitors who do not have a bracket or their opponent no shows day of event will receive a full coupon credit. If you are a no show, you will not receive a credit. If you can not attend the event you must cancel on smoothcomp in the cancellation window.
