EVENT OVERVIEW:
The sirens are sounding. This Halloween, SCRAPS turns the Ward Training Facility into a battleground for our first-ever PURGE NIGHT wrestling tournament. For one night only, commencing at the sound of the siren, all grappling is legal and every takedown counts. Grab your mask, choose your division, and come survive the mats. Costumes are encouraged - wrestle in character if you dare.
Doors open at 8:00 AM. The Purge begins when the siren sounds.
Satellite weigh-ins are due Thursday night by 9:00 PM.
In-Person weigh-ins will be hosted 7-8 AM for the morning session and 11 AM-12 PM for the second session.
SPLIT SESSIONS:
This event uses a split-session format (subject to change based on registration quantities per age group).
Session 1: Morning session for 6U and 8U.
Session 2: Begins at 1:00 PM for 10U, 12U, Middle School, and High School divisions.
* Sessions will be based on registrations.
REGISTRATION:
Early bird registration: September 6th through October 10th
Normal registration: October 10th through October 27th
Late registration: October 27th through October 30th at 8:00 PM
ENTRY FEE:
$30 for all divisions (Early Registration)
$40 for all divisions (Normal Registration)
$50 for all divisions (Late Registration)
FORMAT:
Double elimination format.
Medals will be awarded for:
1st Place: GOLD
2nd Place: SILVER
3rd Place: BRONZE
MVP - "LAST ONE STANDING": For athletes who win multiple brackets.
SCRAPS SCORING:
Takedown: 3 points.
Feet to back: 4 points.
Reversal: 2 points.
Escape: 1 point.
Back exposure: 2 points.
Technical fall: 15 points (any round).
Pins are allowed only in the third round - so wrestle smart until the final round.
DIVISIONS:
Boys divisions: athletes ages 5-18.
Girls divisions: athletes ages 5-18.
Men's divisions: athletes ages 19-75.
Women's divisions: athletes ages 19-75.

The last day to make registration edits is Thursday, October 29th, 2026 at 8:00 PM.
The last day for a 100% refund is Thursday, October 29th, 2026 at 9:00 PM.
