Represent the Philippines in the first-ever MMA competition at the Asian Games! The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and National Martial Mixed Arts Pederasyon ng Pilipinas (NMMAPP), is proud to announce the Open Tryouts for the selection of MMA athletes who will represent the Philippines in the 1st ever MMA event at the Asian Games 2026 to be held in Japan.
Who Can Join: Male and Female Fighters
Ages 18 to 38 years old
Amateur and Professional MMA fighters are welcome
Must be Filipino citizens with valid proof of nationality

Tryout Details: August 1 to 5 2025 at Tagaytay City Philippines
Requirements: Valid ID, proof of citizenship, medical clearance, resume of fight experience, and training background
Selection Criteria: Skills, physical conditioning, fight IQ, sportsmanship, and readiness for elite competition.
Important Note: All applicants will undergo a thorough screening process including tryouts, medical evaluation, and background check. Successful candidates will enter the National MMA Training Pool under NMMAPP.
