USA Grappling presents the Pennsylvania Sport Jiu-Jitsu & Wrestling Open—a premier, double-discipline combat sports event hitting the massive Spooky Nook Sports complex in Manheim, PA on August 8, 2026. A high-stakes Sport Jiu-Jitsu International Federation (SJJIF) sanctioned tournament designed to showcase top-tier grappling talent. It serves as a critical stop on the competitive circuit for athletes aiming to climb the world rankings and secure their spot in major international events.
Event Highlights
SJJIF Ranking Tournament: Competitors earn essential points toward their SJJIF Individual World Rankings. These rankings are divided by gender, belt level, and age group for both Gi and No-Gi divisions.
2027 World Team Seeding: Performance at this event directly impacts seeding for the World team trials, providing a strategic advantage for those looking to advance to the world's most prestigious stages. USA Grappling will be sponsoring a youth team to travel to Japan and a Sr team for the 2027 World Cup competition.
Diverse Divisions: The tournament hosts a wide range of categories, including Kids (ages 4–15), Juveniles (16–17), Adults, and Masters (up to Master 61+).
Standardized Rules: Matches are conducted under official SJJIF standards, utilizing a points system that rewards technical mastery and aggressive grappling, with extra points awarded for victories by submission.
