The PBG exists to support our community as we work together to elevate our sport.
Spectators will be $10 at the door.
ACADEMY PROFIT SHARE: $15 of each paid registration goes to back to the academy/team of the competitor.
Matches will start at 9 AM. We will be running different start times according to division ages. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time.
Our goal is for each competitor to have at least a few matches. We will merge divisions as necessary to ensure competitors get matches.
NEW AND IMPROVED RULESET
CATCH STYLE SUBMISSION ONLY RULESET. The only way to score is by legitimate submission attempts. The ref will call catch (=1 point) when a submission is set and threatened for 3 seconds or more.
3 minutes for 5-13 years
4 minutes for 14-17 years
ABSOLUTELY NO Scissor Takedowns, Reaping, Toe Holds, Knee Bars, Heel Hooks, Neck Cranks, Bicep/Calf Slicers, or Slamming/Spiking. No open hand (single or double) trachea attacks. No hand smothering.
Single arm and double arm trachea attacks are allowed, but will only be counted as a submission attempt with both arms locked.
Straight ankle locks are allowed.
Referees will do their best to give warnings prior to disqualifications, but some situations may require immediate disqualification at referees discretion.
