Gender and Division Policy
Gender: Male and female for all age divisions. Co-ed matches are allowed when necessary. Females do not need permission to enter a division.
Division Adjustments: There will be no one-person division. Competitors can move up by age, weight, and/or belt with parent/guardian permission. If no immediate division is available, we will find the closest division and contact the parent/guardian for approval.
UPDATED YOUTH AGE DIVISION SYSTEM
We will also be updating our youth division age structure.
Previously, divisions were determined by the athlete’s age on the day of the tournament.
Moving forward, youth divisions will now be based on the athlete’s birth year instead.
This adjustment helps align our tournament structure more closely with many major national and international grappling organizations.
