Kids and teens weigh in on Saturday 14 March from 12H30 to 13H30, with matches starting at 14H. Adults weigh in on Sunday 15 March from 8h.
What documents are required to compete?
Competitors must provide identification and a medical certificate or valid FFL licence. FFL members must provide their licence; non-licensed competitors must provide personal civil liability insurance covering combat sports/grappling and individual accident insurance.
What are the weigh-in clothing and weight tolerance rules?
Weigh-ins are in shorts, t-shirt, and rashguard. There is no weight tolerance and no refund.
Which age categories and rule sets are offered?
U9, U11, U13, and U15 compete in No-Gi under IBJJF rules and Gi under IBJJF rules. U17, Adultes, Maîtres 1, and Masters 2 compete in No-Gi under submission-only rules and Gi under IBJJF rules.
What level categories are available?
The No-Gi and Gi level categories are Débutant, Intermédiaire, Avancé, and Expert.
What are the adult and masters No-Gi submission-only match rules?
Adultes and Maîtres submission-only matches are 5 minutes. If there is no submission, there is a 2-minute EBI-style submission-only overtime, followed if still tied by a 2-minute GASP round where the first score wins.
Can divisions be merged?
Yes. The description states that category regrouping is possible depending on registrations.
