ATNSW Taekwondo - Competition Integrity Notice
ATNSW Taekwondo will be implementing and enforcing strict guidelines regarding the placement of athletes in appropriate competition divisions.
Any club, instructor, coach, or official found to have deliberately entered an athlete into an incorrect division, or provided inaccurate information that results in an unfair competitive advantage, will be subject to severe disciplinary action and sanctions.
It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure that athlete registrations, grades, ages, weights and divisions are accurate and comply with the applicable competition rules and regulations.
ATNSW Taekwondo is committed to maintaining the integrity of our sport and ensuring that all competitions are conducted in a fair, honest, and transparent manner.
We have a zero tolerance policy for any actions that compromise fair play or the safety of competitors. All members are expected to uphold the highest standards of sportsmanship and integrity to protect the reputation and future of Taekwondo in New South Wales.

COACH REGISTRATION
All Accredited Coaches must register online by FRIDAY 31ST JULY 2026 - 11.59PM
REQUIRED ACCREDITATION AND MEMBERSHIP
- All Athletes must have upgraded their Basic Membership to a National Athlete Licence (NAL) prior to registration.
- Any Athlete that registers without the correct Membership your registration will be unapproved until you have completed your AT Membership and NAL.
- All Coaches must have Valid Australian Taekwondo Membership, Current Coach Accreditation and be 18 years or over. Please check your accreditation is up to date prior to registration.
- All Athletes and Coaches Membership and Accreditation with be checked and verified with Australian Taekwondo.
REMINDER:
- All Kyorugi Athletes can only enter 1 DIVISION.
- EVENT PSS SYSTEM - KPNP - K2 will be used for ALL Kyorugi Divisions. All athletes will be required to supply their own PSS foot socks. KPNP - K2 PSS electronic chest guards, head guard and face shields will be supplied by Fight HQ.
- All 8 years and over Female Kyorugi Athletes must wear Groin Guards.
- All Kyorugi Colour Belt Athletes do not need to wear WT Approved Dobok. Colour Belts MUST wear White V-Neck Dobok. Only Black Belts to wear Black V-Neck Dobok.
- ALL Athletes MUST have the Australian Taekwondo Badge on Left Sleeve of their Dobok.
- All Black Belt Kyorugi Athletes MUST wear WT Approved Black V-Neck Dobok.
- All Child (11yrs and under), All Cadet (12-14yrs) and All Para Kyorugi Divisions MUST wear Head Guards with Face Shields (THESE WILL BE PROVIDED).

QUALIFICATION FOR AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
- YELLOW BELTS: The National Championships does not have Yellow Belt Divisions.
- BLUE/RED BELTS: Australian Taekwondo have specified that the top 4 Blue and Red Belt athletes from 8-9 year+ divisions in NSW are eligible to compete.
- BLACK BELTS: All Black Belts Must Enter and Compete at the ATNSW State Championships in order to qualify for the National Championships. Exceptions can be made for those competing internationally or those who are injured – in which case written evidence must be provided. Each case will be reviewed individually and ATNSW reserves the right to reject applications which do not meet the necessary criteria.
- Uncontested Kyorugi athletes that elects for a refund they will unfortunately forfeit their position on the ATNSW Team to compete at the Australian National Championships.
