Weigh-in & Check-in: From 8:30 AM
Competition Starts: 9:30 AM
- Morning: Kids Divisions
- Afternoon: Adult Divisions (Gi & No-Gi)This is a full-day event.

- Age Groups: Based on year-end age, calculated as of 31/12/2025 (e.g., born 12/09/2008 = competes as 17 years old)More details: IBJJF Rules
⚖️ Weight Categories:
Weights shown in Smoothcomp include the Gi or No-Gi allowance.E.g., 79kg (82.3kg Gi) means a net weight under 79kg and a max gross weight of 82.3kg with the Gi.
📝 CHECKING DAY
The day after registration closes is Checking Day – all athletes must confirm their registration, division, and opponents.Changes and cancellations (with partial refund) are only possible on this day.After this, entries are final and non-refundable.
💸 REFUND POLICY
- Cancel before registration closes: 90% refund
- Cancel on Checking Day: partial refund
- No refunds after brackets go live.
🎟️ SPECTATOR FEES
- $8 per person
- $20 family (up to 3 people)
- $25 family (up to 4 people)
- 🎓 All current NZBJJF or IBJJF Black Belts and Coaches enter for FREE.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE
Any athlete (child, juvenile, or adult) who fails to make weight will be disqualified immediately.No division changes allowed on the day or after brackets are published.No refunds will be issued for disqualifications.
