Detroit... it's time to brace for winter and bring the heat! Join us December 12th as we return to HYPE Rec. Center of Western Wayne for the highly anticipated Newbreed Detroit Winter Championship!

Whether you're an experienced black belt hunting for another title or a white belt ready to test yourself in competition, our tournament welcomes athletes of all ages and skill levels. With both Gi and No-Gi divisions, this is your opportunity to step on the mats and show Detroit what you've got.

Step onto the podium and claim your custom medal as one of the top three athletes in your division. These medals represent more than a finish—they represent the dedication, preparation, and hard work it took to get there. In Detroit, success isn't given. It's earned.

First-place champions in all advanced divisions will be crowned with the prestigious NJJF Championship Belt. It's more than a belt—it's a symbol of your skill, determination, and commitment to the art of Jiu-Jitsu.

Think you're ready for an even bigger challenge? Test yourself in the No-Gi Absolute Division, where competitors leave it all on the mats with no weight classes standing between them and the top spot. This is where champions rise. Will you be the one standing at the top?

Team points will be calculated to determine the top three youth teams, top three adult teams, and one overall team champion. All seven winning teams will receive a prestigious award banner to proudly display at their academy, while each first-place team will also take home a custom championship trophy recognizing their collective excellence.
