Description
We welcome all Judo players to join MTG Judo for our annual "Open air" Judo competition. Hosted at the Corinda Bowls Club, the whole family will be able to enjoy this day out! 2 mat areas, restaurant & bar and of course Barefoot Bowlings!
Mat Areas
The MTG Judo Competition will be run over 2 mats (6x6).
Weigh-in Times
Weigh-in opens at 9am. Competition will start at 10 am.
10:00am - Weigh in closes for Judo4Kids, U11, U13 & U15 divisions.
11:00am - Weigh in closes for Cadets, Junior & Senior Men/Women & Veterans.
Gi Requirements
All players competing in the MTG Judo Club competition MUST have a white judogi. The use of a blue judogi is accepted where suitable.
Notes
As per the Judo Queensland Sporting Code, mouth guards are permitted provided they are properly fitted by a dentist.
Unfitted mouth guards shall not be permitted.
The player must provide documentation prior to the competition to the Event Director and the player must also notify the mat Referee that they have a mouth guard each time they enters the mat to compete.
Wet Weather
In the event of adverse weather, the tournament may be held indoors. The decision will be made by the tournament director before the commencement of the event.
